The Panda House is the real highlight of this tour. We got to spend a lot of time at the zoo watching these ancient and interesting animals. We had already been to the Summer Palace, so our tour guide was extremely flexible and took us to alternative sites, including the bell and drum towers. Really love the private tour. Lots of flexibility and personal interaction. The Imperial Dinner was excellent. Tons of food, some unique and some familiar, but all delicious.

I would say this trip was the highlight of our Beijing adventure, our Guide Angie was brilliant. Really knowledgeable and even helped with tips, advice and any other information regarding Beijing and our next destination Hong Kong. It was a brilliant day and well worth the money, we were in Beijing during their national holiday which meant, we were faced with many crowds however Angie helped us to get on one of the three boat trips first, guided us around the extremely busy Zoo, and helped make the day run smoothly and to time with ease... arriving at the summer palace via boat was beautiful and the scenery was incredible! The day was finished off with possibly the best meal we had during our whole stay in Beijing. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone visiting and without a doubt would say this was the best day of our Chinese adventure.

Fantastic tour. Our guide Ping was great fun and friendly. Her English was good and we had no problems communicating. We saw 3 pandas on our visit although this part is very and out of the zoo only stopping at the pandas for about 15 minutes, The trip to the Summer Palace was nice bit the commentary is all in Chinese. Ping translated a little bit but the speaker is so loud it was difficult for her. Lots of walking on this tour so make sure you have comfy shoes! The dinner was also very enjoyable with loads of different food we wouldn't have otherwise tried. There is a lot a lot of food so pace yourself! We left most of it after trying a little of everything.

Crystal is a wonderful guide, with a lot of knowledge we had a nice time with her and she has been very helpful in sharing Chinese culture. The only unconveniency is the visit to the Panda house at the beginning of the afternoon as pandas were sleeping with hot tmperature better to start with summer palace.
Thanks again to Crystal!. Marie, Ombeline and Aymeric.

What a great way to see the Summer Palace- arriving by boat! Although the weather wasn and #39;t cooperative, we had a brilliant time with Li Li! We instantly bonded and she and #39;s a fantastic photographer, plus very knowledgable on history and all of Beijing. The and #39;lazy and #39; pandas were a great additional tour too!

After you have seen the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, this is a great tour. The pace is a bit more relaxing, and you will see different parts of Beijing. The Panda House is in the Beijing Zoo, and the Pandas are just adorable, the cruise is on a Dragon Boat and lasts about 40 minutes along the canal lined with weeping willows. The Summer Palace is beautiful and amazing. The Imperial Cuisine was in a restaurant that used to cook for the Emperor. Overall I recommend this tour.
