Know More about this tour

Meet your expert guide outside your centrally located Dubrovnik hotel. Then, settle into your seat aboard a private vehicle and set off on your panoramic tour of the city.

From the comfort of your seat, listen to your guides fascinating commentary as you gaze out at the pretty streets and ancient city walls, a 1.2-mile (2-km) complex structure built in the 14th century to protect Dubrovnik.

Pause by the historical harbor to snap photos and drink in views of the beautiful Adriatic Sea. Then, continue on to the labyrinthine Dubrovnik Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the medieval core of the city.

Hop out of your vehicle at Pile Gate, and set off on a walking tour of the Old Town with your guide. Stroll down the elegant main street, the Stradun, also known locally as Placa. Along the way, see Onofrios Fountain, admire the Franciscan Monastery containing a restored sculpture Michelangelos La Piet and a 14th-century cloister and pass by the Church of St Blaise, Dubrovniks patron saint. Youll also see the Baroque-style Cathedral of the Assumption and the impressive Orlandos Column.

After your walking tour, return to your private vehicle and continue to Mt Sr, the 1,352-foot (412-meter) mountain that towers over the city. At the summit, enjoy free time to absorb the views of Dubrovniks terracotta-tiled rooftops and the Dalmatian Coast, including the island of Lokrum and the distant Elaphite Islands. Have your camera ready; on a clear day, you can see sights up to 37 miles (67 km) away.

When the time comes, join back up with your guide and vehicle, and return to central Dubrovnik, where your tour concludes with a drop-off back at your hotel.

  • We came to Dubrovnik from a cruise ship. It was convenient for us since the local tour company can pick up us at cruise terminal and brought us back at a later time long after the Old town tour finished so that we have time to ourselves to explore and linger. The driver and the guide are both excellent.

  • The driving tour to the old fort above Dubrovnik and the war museum were very good. Our driver was excellent, and we had many stops to take incredible photographs.

The walking tour was good but not as informative as some of our past tours. I would not miss the old town, but you don't necessarily need a tour to see it. The biggest advantage was the drop-off and pick-up.

  • The place is beautiful but they picked us up an hour late and the guide was in a hurry and upset because he was not supposed to carry us. He did not answer our tourist questions because he was only driver not a guide. Then took us to another guide who did the walking part of the tour.

  • This was a very informative and excellent tour of the coastal city of Dubrovnik. We had two guides. One with a small van to take us up to excellent points of observation around the city and provide detailed information about its history and the importance of its major sights and locations.
He was a very informative man about the recent history of the Balkan states, the last major conflict and the subsequent cultural and economic fallout from the collapse of the former Yugoslavia. His grasp of recent history was very enlightening especially for those of us who are lacking understanding of the rich history of the Croatian people.
We had a separate tour guide through the walled city itself. She was very helpful and gracious as members of our tour were limited in their ability to climb stairs or walk long distances. She gave us an excellent opportunity to enjoy the beautiful location and a good pace without stress.
I would highly recommend this tour to any who are interested in learning about the rich and intriguing history and culture of the region and exploring the beautiful walled city from several different vantage points.

  • The guides were friendly and informative. Although the weather was cold and windy we enjoyed our tour very much.

  • Both the driver and tour guide were nice. The guide was knowledgeable and animated. She tried to accommodate our mobility issues.

  • Good easy walking tour. Comfortable transportation. Recommended although a bit more information and history would have been appreciated.

  • Our guide was very nice and knowledgable.
