Overview
Enjoy a private 10-hour tour of the Mekong Delta from Ho chi minh city that includes traveling by boat and either a motor cart or bicycle. From there, board a small boat to continue your journey. At a fruit garden, you will be welcomed by local people upon arrival and have the chance to taste tropical seasonal fruits. Then visit an orchid garden where rare orchids are grown and you can taste some honey tea.
Take another boat ride to a floating fish farm to experience more of rural life on the Mekong Delta, and head next to a candy workshop to taste coconut candy, a product unique to Ben Tre. Then, hop on your motor cart or bicycle (depending on your preference designated when booking) for about 40 minutes to explore countryside roads. During your ride, observe a bit of daily life, and enjoy some coconut juice. Then head to a local restaurant for a traditional Vietnamese lunch before rowing back to the mainland to visit a well-known pagoda.
Your tour then ends as you head back to your hotel.
