  • Our tour guide Carlos Calderon has given us a lot of information of the City, Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Shrine, he is very good and highly recommended. Anna or we call her Vicky Rivera is a very welcoming driver, very nice and always smiling as well as Carlos. We thank you Lord for our safe trip in Mexico City.

  • Our tour guide David did a great job with showing us the highlights of both Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Shrine. The site is exceptional to see and David did a really great job explaining and educating us on the history of the Teotihuacan people. The Guadalupe Shrine is also exceptional. We were able to see how the story of Guadalupe came to be and how she became a symbol for the Catholic religion.
The tour guides were highly knowledgeable and professional.

  • Very knowledgable guide and good driver. Flexible schedule which was great and learned a ton about the ruins, the basilica, and Mexico in general.

  • Teotihuacan was awesome no doubt, tour itself can be a lot better. Tour guide was not very good at explaining, probably partly a language issue, can only understand about 50 of it. Tour flow was poorly designed. We started with Guadalupe shrine, then the craft center, then Teotihuacan, by the time we got to Teotihuacan, it was hot and crowded, and we didn't get to eat lunch till 2ish, way too late, we were starving. Would have been better to head straight to Teotihuacan first, then have lunch, then all the other stops.

  • Such a great experience! Veronica was our tour guide and she was amazing! We loved her. We are so happy that we chose to do this as a private tour it was just my boyfriend and I, so we were able to stay at each location as long as we needed and to concentrate on the things that interested us the most. She took pictures for us, advised on the best route to take up the pyramid and was knowledgeable and friendly the entire day. The one thing to note, which was not the tour company's fault but Viator's is that the day was longer than is listed on the site. It says aprox. 6 hours but it was more like 10-11 hours including travel and wait times. Don't get me wrong, it is totally worth spending the day doing this! We learned so much and we CLIMBED A PYRAMID! But we did have to move some plans around when we realized we wouldn't be back as early as we thought we would. Recommended tour for sure!

  • This was an exceptionally good tour. I took the two-person private tour with my sister, and it was a great way for us to learn about all three locations on the tour -- Tlatelolco, Teotihuacan, and Guadalupe. Our guide, Carlos, was very knowledgeable about the history and culture, both prehispanic and colonial, and he provided fascinating details about how people lived, their religious beliefs, and how they built and decorated their homes and temples. His English is excellent, and he has a whimsical and engaging way of sharing the history that makes learning fun. Both he and the driver, Ana, were very flexible in accommodating us, especially when we spent longer in the shop than we expected. The trip includes a brief introduction to the maguey plant and the art of obsidian sculpture, plus an excellent lunch at a nearby restaurant. If you want a truly informative and personalized tour, skip the big-bus tours and sign up for one of these private tours through Viator. It's well worth the extra cost.

  • This was our kind of tour we recommend it. Of course we did the usual highlights of Teotihuacan like all the other tourists, but David, our guide, reads the Anthropology Journal, loves history, and loves sharing. Hes got the latest information at the ready. We went to other important stops in the historical progression.

Logistics for the tour were outstanding we had Luis, a professional driver. We were picked up at our Airbnb right on schedule. At the sights we were let off at the entrance, and when we finished, Luis appeared with the car.

When we got home, Luis sent Davids pictures of us at the pyramids. Take this tour.

  • This tour was fantastic! Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about history. Both our guide and our driver were super nice and friendly. Having a guide made all the difference in terms of learning and understanding. Teotihuacan was amazing. I have never seen or experienced anything like it! Highly, highly recommended!!

  • It was an amazing tour.! Our driver Ana and tour guy David wonderful persons.

  • Very good tour with an informative, friendly guide called Veronica. Picked up on time in a sedan with driver and was amazed on arrival at the Temple site
WOW ! Stopped at the local "workshop" and ended up buying a carving ... it looked amazing and good quality. Lunch was superb and included.
