Like many others, my wife and I were interested in go to La Reina Sofia in order to see Picasso's Guernica. It was as amazing as we thought it would be, but the experience was truly enhanced by our Guide, Marta. She was so knowledgeable and showed us that the museum was far more than that one famous painting. She took such great care in taking us through various galleries and told the story of the struggle of modern art to break through the deep-seated traditions and norms of Spanish culture. It was a truly wonderful tour, and Marta had everything to do with that.

Great tour with Marta of this gem of a museum. Expertly guided and clear explanations of what we were seeing.

Jose was the best tour guide! He told us so much about the historical context of art, and how the art world impacted history. Thank you so very much!

Another excellent private tour with Marta. Her passion, explanation regarding modern art, and guidance through the museum was excellent. We learned about the history of art, especially around 1890's-WWII. Highly recommend Marta

Our guide, Marta, was an amazing knowledgeable guide and both myself and my friend know a lot about art. Not only did she know the subject but her comments about history were extremely useful to understand the context and the time when the painter lived. She made our visit to the Reina Sofia Museum an amazing experience.

We had a private tour of the Reina Sofia Museum and also the Museo del Prado. Our guide was Marta and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about both the artwork, the city and the history. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Ana, was quite excellent. Ana began by asking us what we were most interested in, then started the tour based on that. This was no scripted tour. Ana was able to thoroughly explain any piece of art that caught our eye and then seamlessly relate it to other pieces in the gallery and the historical context. She did this while moving us through the museum at a comfortable pace, finishing the with complete story of Picasso's Guernica.

Sean Retana, our tour guide, was outstanding! "The ability to affect the quality of the day is the highest form of art..." We saw numerous great art pieces; however, we also experienced Sean Retana's artistic ability as a tour guide; he positively affected the quality of our day! We could not have asked for a better tour experience at The Reina Sofia Museum.
