We had 3 great days of tours with Amro (our guide) and Sayyed (driver). Sayyed drove very well, we felt very safe the entire time, and was very friendly. The car was clean, new and comfortable. Amro was a great guide. His English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable. We was very accommodating of all of our questions, our desire to see each site in depth, and gave us ample time at each site to take photos and explore on our own. He had great suggestions of what we could not miss in Luxor (since there is so much to see there) and recommendations for where to each & shop as well. He is based in Aswan, so if you're in Egypt and can request him, we would recommend him very highly! Note: unfortunately, we had a negative experience with Deluxe Travels as a company overall. We loved Amro and Sayyed in Luxor, but overall we felt Deluxe provided poor service. If you are not VERY CLEAR about each thing you want to see on your trip in advance, when you arrive, they will start to add new charges for everything. Having this happen while you are travelling is both inconvenient and frustrating, and you feel like you are being taken advantage of. Their customer service was rude, argumentative, and hassled us.

My wife and I recently completed a 9 day trip to Egypt with Deluxe Travel. We spent 4 days on a Nile cruise starting in Luxor and finishing in Aswan. Our guide for this time was Mohamed El Aswany and he was great. He is an Egyptologist and his extensive knowledge was a real bonus. He looked after us every step of the way to ensure our experience has first rate. He provided great advise on how to best see the various temples and other attractions we toured. Many of the sites were extremely crowded and Mohamed helped us make the most of our visit by starting early and touring each site in a way to allowed us the maximum time to enjoy them. On our last day in Aswan we had a felucca ride booked ( small sail boat). Mohamed noticed there was no wind that day and suggested we instead do a motor boat ride. This was a great recommendation as it allowed us to explore some other areas we wouldn't have seen on the felucca. He is also a great photographer and didn't hesitate to offer to take pictures of us on our phones ( and they were great pictures). All the divers we had were also excellent. They and Mohamed were always on time. Finally when we left for the airport to catch our flight back to Cairo, Mohamed called our driver to ensure everything went smoothly. Mohamed is very knowledgeable and clearly loves his job. I see there are many great guides with Deluxe Travel, however if you are planning on a trip to Luxor-Aswan, definitely use Deluxe Travel and ask for Mohamed El Aswany

I arranged a 9 day program traveling through all Egypt, with Deluxe Travel, this would be the highlight. I was totally satisfied from start to finish. All entry tickets were included, my personal driver was punctual at every stop, but best of all was Ahmad Almozamel my guide. His English is excellent. He is a great person with top class knowledge of the sites since he had worked for 3 years directly under THE boss of Egyptology Dr Zhawass. Ahmad also has a fine sense of humor which I enjoyed. He took his time, we never rushed and he answered every question I asked. He even offered good advice for bargaining for purchases. As a single woman traveler I felt very secure, he looked out for me and respected me too. Beyond the amazing sites of Antiquity I learned about daily Egyptian life. This was a beautiful experience. I have no hesitation in recommending Deluxe Travel (BTW Yasser went beyond the call of duty and assisted me by contacting my hotel in Amman for my next arrival transfer). And if you have the chance to get Ahmad as your guide in Luxor/Karnak grab him! Thank you to everyone.
