Know More about this tour

Make your own way to Vilnius City Hall to meet your guide for your private walking tour.

Wind down the narrow Old Town streets to St.Casimirus Street where you get the first panoramic view over Vilnius green hills and the Uzupis district. Continue to the Bastion of Vilnius City wall where you can spot all of the Old Towns churches.

Head down across the creek and into the self-declared Republic of Uzupis where you learn about the artists and free-thinkers that have defined the area since the late 1990s. Your guide introduces you to the Constitution of the Republic, then takes you to visit an art incubator, the Square of Tibet, Church of Bartholomew, two monuments to the same uncrowned Duke, and specific courtyards. Pass by the small islands art galleries, cafes, wooden houses, and seven bridges.

Finally, climb Bekesas Hill to see all of Vilnius spread before you: the Old Town, the modern city on the other bank of River Neris, and Soviet-style districts along the green hills.

Your tour ends near the Gothic-style Church of St. Anne and the statue of the famous 19th-century poet Adam Mickiewicz.
