The Udaipur City Palace is not a singular historical edifice, but its a complex of several palaces in the Udaipur City, which lies in the desert state of Rajasthan. According to historical records, this palace complex was built over a period of 400 years, with several kings of the Maharana Udai Singh's dynasty, who all contributed to the growth of these buildings. Next proceed for Jagdish Temple which is a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple is one of the tourist attraction and a major monument in Udaipur, built by Maharana Jagat Singh Ist in 1651. It is raised on a tall terrace. The temple was originally called the temple of Jagannath Rai but is now called Jagdish ji.

Jagdish Temple is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. Located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. In 1651, Jagdish temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-53. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), the preserver of the Universe. It is celebrated for being the largest temple in the city of Udaipur. The gateway of this temple can be sited at a distance of 150 meters from the Bara Pol of the City Palace.
