  • We took a private tour with Frank as our tour guide on Thursday, August 24. Our goal was to see as many different animals as possible. Well, we saw a grizzly bear, a pack of wolves, pronghorns, mountain goat, and more bison than we could count, and so close we thought they may get in the car! Success. Frank was a wealth of information about the park history and the many trails and attractions in the park. It was a great day.

  • This tour with Frank was the highlight of our trip! He was so informative and helped us to see Yellowstone and the wildlife in a new light. He is highly personable and the best guide. He included our young grandchildren and they rave about the tour too as their favorite. We never felt hurried or rushed and felt like we saw everything we hoped for.

  • Our guide Frank was really great. He was laid-back with a good sense of humor which we really enjoyed. He tailored the day to the areas of the park we had not already experienced. We saw hundreds of bison, one black bear, some elk and sheep. We didn't see any grizzlies or wolves but those are hard to see in the summer unless you start at 5:30 am which my kids didn't want to do. Frank taught us many things about the history and geology of Yellowstone. Would highly recommend.

  • Best Game Drive ever!! Molly was punctual, knowledgeable, and well organized we discussed goals which for me was seeing everything we could, large or small. We left from Canyon Lodge, then north to the Lamar Valley which is where the fun began. Wolves! Bison! Moose!! Bears!! Pronghorns! Mountain goats! Osprey! Bald eagle! Deer! Elk! Though I had my own binoculars, Molly was better at finding animals with the 'scope which was very helpful. All in all, I am so glad I finished my trip with this tour and would recommend it highly for someone interested in wildlife, but not interested in a large group tour.

  • Great tour: we were lucky to see 4 bears 1 grizzly, 3 black bears, 3 wolves, plenty of goats, sheep, birds nests, etc.
Our goal/hope was to see wolves and bears. Guide Frank picked us up at our hotel in Gardiner at 5:30 AM. By 7:30 AM we had seen a wolf with two puppies at their den in the Slough Creek area, as well as a couple of bald eagles, and an osprey catching a trout from the river right in front of us. Next, while searching for bears we saw mountain goats high up in the cliff walls further down the Soda Butte Valley and then by 9:30 AM a very big grizzly high up in the fields across the Lamar valley. This was followed by nesting swallows, a bald eagle nest, a red tail hawk nest with young birds being fed by one of the parents, an osprey nest with both parents. Then a fox roaming around at the lunch area and a nest of young great horned owls. Next we spotted bighorn sheep along the cliffs across from the Palatine/Narrows Yellowstone river viewing area, and then leaving from there we saw a juvenile black bear from the parking lot. Two more bears on the way back to the hotel: a cinnamon black bear within 20 yard of the road and another black bear crossing the road. Of course we also saw tons of bison, elk, pronghorn sheep, and deer while driving back and forth to different spots. Frank is a very knowledgeable, patient guide who knows all the right spots. Fantastic 8 hour tour!!

  • Our guide Frank was prompt in meeting us. He was very knowledgeable about locations from which to see wild animals and the history of Yellowstone. Lunch was fine. He had endless patience with our two grandsons. His viewing scope made it possible for them to actually see the animals. Worth every penny.

  • I'd always thought that the perfect guide on a Yellowstone tour would be a park ranger, and that's exactly what we got with this tour. Our guide, Frank, was a former Yellowstone park ranger, and he had heard every question you could possibly ask about everything in the park. He was a personable, friendly guy and my wife and I had a great time. We saw a bear, antelope, elk, osprey, bald eagle, bison, prairie dogs, and coyotes. The only wildlife in Yellowstone we didn't spot were wolves, and some volunteer spotters told us we had just missed them. Overall, a memorable day, and I recommend this tour highly!

  • The tour was great as we saw lots of amazing wildlife! Our guide, Frank, was friendly and informative - he really made the expedition fun. Highly recommended!

  • We had a GREAT day with Emil, who knew exactly were to be, to see a lot of wildlife. We saw wolfs, bears, bisons, eagles and a beautiful sunrise. Emil made it an unforgettable day in fantastic Yellowstone.

  • OMG this is the way to see north Yellowstone and its wildlife. This group knows the Park and where to find the animals. We spotted 3 wolves bedded down about a half mile from the road and watched as they called in 3 more members of the pack from across the road behind us. The excitement of the reunion was unbelieveable and only exceeded by the fear displayed by the nearby Bison and Elk herds. We watched and tracked the pack as it headed toward Lamar Valley alerting the resident wolf trackers by radio. Add to this, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Pronghorn, Black Bear, and Coyote - what a day. The highlight of our 10 day adventure. Thanks.
