Fascinating look in to a period in Vancouver's history that even most locals know little about. Our tour guide Glenn (double n) was knowledgeable, witty and professional with lots of time for questions. Thank you! I will come back.

Excellent & humorous guide who gave us the most interesting evening.I would highly recommend this tour.

What a great tour. Glenn was knowledgeable and kind. I loved learning about Canadian prohibition. The last stop had a great view for photos. I'll definitely do another tour when I come back.

I booked the Forbidden Vancouver Tour for the organization I work for, Sparx Publishing Group, and I cannot recommend this tour enough! We booked as a private group tour, and Tracy and Lina were quick to respond and were friendly and helpful. The tour itself is well organized and thought-out -- I could tell we were getting the "inside scoop," as they've clearly done their research and found information from archives you can't find online. It was fascinating learning about Vancouver's seedy past. Our tour guide, Rob, was amazing! An excellent storyteller, passionate, and engaging. He definitely made our night! From the Sparx team, thank you for the amazing tour!

As we were guided through historical gastown we enjoyed learning about the early families of Vancouver, secrets of rum running and blind pigs. We love a good walking tour and this one was fantastic and knowledgeable even for us locals. Our Vancouver autumn evening was dry and beautiful but dress for the forecast, our teen was a little cold by the end but they never take clothing recommendations well anyway.

Wonderful. Excellent storytelling. A good balance of humor, drama, and education. Kept everyone engaged, and created a window into forgotten history.

Lennart gave us a great view into the darker history of Vancouver. Having lived in Vancouver for 12 years, I learned so many things about the city that I had never heard before. Very interesting!

This was my third tour with Forbidden Vancouver and definitely not the last. The tours are rich in content delivered by entertaining guides (shout out to Teala) who bring the past to life. We covered a lot of ground in Gastown, walked down alleys and streets I’d never seen before and enjoyed beautiful views of the city. It was an entertaining Saturday night.

Jannette and Glenn were wonderful! If you don't do The Forbbiden Tours you did not visit Vancuver!!!

While in the city, my friends and I decided to check out the Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tour. I highly recommend, especially with Rob. The enthusiasm and the knowledge from him was spectacular!
