The guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the time in the medieval villages. There was plenty of time included to explore.

This trip was amazing! Our guide, Antoine, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area, and of course, took us to beautiful locations. My wife and I traveled with our 8 month old, and the pace was perfect. Gourdon was one of the highlights of the trip, which is a small walled town at the top of a mountain where we had lunch overlooking mountains and the Mediterranean. The views were incredible. We would highly recommend this trip.

Catherine (or Katherine) our guide was really nice. Pickup was punctual and despite the rainy start to the day we did 5 little towns in all. It was a comfortably small group of 6. Cannes was rainy which was a pity, we could only take pictures of the festival building from the car. Then we managed to climb to the castle in the rain. We went off to the perfumeries in Grasse which was very interesting as we learned not just the making process but also how to choose scents and what to look out for. By the time we were done the rain stopped. We walked about Grasse, had a quick lunch then off to Gourdon with a short stop for photos. The same with Tourettes-sur-Loup. We had about 30-50 mins each town and as the group was small we were able to set off on time and got more time at the last stop Saint Paul-de-Venice. We had a mini van which was clean and comfortable and very nice considerate travel mates.

My trip and guide were so great! The car is clean, our guide was a great driver as well as very informative and clear. We agreed to skip Cannes to visit Tourettes-Sur-Loup instead and I loved the authentic feel this medieval village gave to the tour. Apart from when they take you into local suppliers with a bit of an awkward focus on getting you to buy something, this tour was a fantastic way to spent a day. So easy from central Nice with the hotel pick up as well. Would definitely recommend!

Megan was a excellent guide. We had a great time visiting all the spots she took us. An all day tour is not easy but she kept us moving but we had plenty of time to relax at the key places. I learned a lot about perfume that I didn’t know before!!

Stunning scenery!! Our driver, Ansarollah, was so friendly and flexible. His van was clean and comfortable for me and my daughter and the other 2 passengers (also a mother-daughter combo). On the way to our first stop (Cannes), we discussed and decided to go to Antibes instead which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had about 50 minutes here and bought a few gifts at the open air flower market and toured the Absinthe museum (!) in the basement of one of the shops in town. Our next stop was Grasse which has the famed Fragonard perfume factory and museum. The tour was really interesting and not too long. We were given plenty of time to shop at the end -there was no heavy sell. We ended up not buying anything there (but got a couple of things at another shop). We had another full hour in Grasse to either shop, mosey or eat lunch. Next stop was Gourdon, a tiny little hill town with Roman ruins remaining at the edge. Just amazing views all the way to the sea and gorgeous medieval cobblestone streets. 45 minutes was fine for this town. On the way out, Ansarollah asked if we wanted to stop at an overlook over some lavender fields but since it wasn't in bloom, we opted out (but regretting that now!). Last stop was St. Paul de Vence, an ancient walled town that specializes in art galleries featuring modern art. Marc Chagall is buried in the little picturesque cemetery at the apex of the town. We had about 1 1/2 hour here. Ate violet ice cream-yum! Highly recommend this tour over one that goes to Monte Carlo. I imagine it is a much better representation of Provence.

St Paul de Venice and its tiny streets with beautiful shops and alleys was a highlight, along with the breathtaking views of canyons surrounding Gourdon.
