Know More about this tour

Start your trip with a pick up at your resort, our first stop will be at the world's only conch farm! Yes, it is here where the Caribbean Queen conchs are raised from veliger to adult. Here you can watch how the process is done, enjoy a show with the two trained and very friendly conchs, see conch pearls and even purchase fresh conch for a fabulous conch salad.

Next we go on one of the key historic attractions on Providenciales, the "Cheshire Hall Plantation." The 200 year-old ruins of this former cotton plantation are striking against a backdrop of modern day Provo, as the island is known locally. The building ruins have been carefully preserved by the National Trust and offer spectacular views of the island.

Then get ready to go to the "Hole" located in Long Bay in Providenciales. This naturally formed massive limestone 40 foot hole is on the list of things to see. People can be lowered down a rope where 80 feet down there is a swimming hole. For adventurous souls only.

Then it's on to Taylor Bay Beach with its sugar white sand, palm trees that freckle the coast, and the beach edged by verdant shrubbery and trees. The crystalline blue waters are so shallow that toddlers can walk out for about a mile before the water would cover their short statures.

Lunch (not included) at Conch Shack is a must. This restaurant harvests conch right in front of you and the dish is served every way imaginable. Their specialty is conch and local seafood, while local fishermen catch grouper, snapper and lobster when in season. They are also the place for amazing Island Jerk Chicken and other grilled features, like tasty vegetarian options.

  • You may need to update your description of the tour. First, you don't get to take a dip in natural limestone swimming pool. I'm assuming that is The Hole, which no one is allowed to take a dip in anyway. Second, we did not get to see Taylor Bay Beach. Not sure exactly why, maybe it is closed I heard that from a few locals but not our tour guide. Cheshire Hall Plantation took way too long with a guide who just pretty much said the same thing over and over. Loved the conch farm and Da Conch Shack though. Hard to hear tour guide sitting in back of van.

  • Such a nice tour! We were the only ones on the tour so it was like or own private tour! Ian our tour guide was great. He knew so much about the island and took us to see all the sights. We even had lunch at the Conch Shack, I never thought I would ever eat conch, but I did and it was great. It is a very nice way to get to see the island, my entire family enjoyed it. You will not regret taking this tour.

  • Ian was in charge of us for this tour and did a fine job of whirling us around for a half day morning tour of the island. The Conch farm was fascinating as was the plantation tour with Joe taking us around and giving us all the history of a time gone by. Lunch at Da Conch Shack was lovely in an idyllic spot on Taylor Bay. Ian also showed us some new developments on the island including The Shore Club on Long Bay on the Caribbean side of the island.
This was my husband's first trip to TCI so it was a good way to see all the sites and gather the history of the island and see all the beauty it has to offer.
Ian was very professional and answered all our many questions.
This is a great tour for a first timer to the island.

  • Our guide Ian was really good, very pleasant and knowledgeable. We liked him a lot . I gave a three star rating based on the fact there is really not a lot to see on Providenciales. We got to see the island so it was worth doing. The visit to the conch farm was interesting and something we probably would not have been aware of if we had not taken the tour.

  • Trey was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the land. He encouraged questions and added a lot of humor to the tour. The sample platter of conch that he ordered for us was amazing! I would most definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to tour providenciales island!

  • We had a great time on this tour. Good way to see some highlights of the island.

  • Great trip. Nice guide. I would make sure though that everyon knows your entrance fees to the plantation and Chonch farm are note included. There was a sampler platter at Bugaloo's though that was included that I do not think was mentioned in the original description of this tour.

  • Worth doing, but the tour description needs to be updated. The lunch is free at the Conch Shack...but two other stops require an entrance fee to be paid...for a family of six, this added up to a lot more than I expected. If you don't rent a car during your stay at TCI, this is a great way to see the island.

  • Had a wonderful time.....small group of six.....made some great friends for the day....great lunch
at the Conch's Rum Bar.....beautiful setting.....tour guides was very informative on the sites we visited....loved it....

  • Very informational. Prompt pick up at our hotel. Even with a miscommunication, the company made it right an we were able to experience ALL the highlights of Providenciales.
