So fun! Charlie is a crack-up! You have to give him some stuff, he expects it! You will see what I mean. Best excursion and worth every penny!

Hands down one of the best excursions that I have taken! This was a full day and only a few buggies, so you do not get lost in a crowd. Everyone was so kind, the scenery and stops were wonderful, and the great lunch was a bonus. I loved that we learned so much history on the trip as well. This was a combo city/history/beach tour and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back! If you are concerned this excursion is a little pricier than the others, trust me, there is a reason. You will not get an experience like this one---just do it!

This was the coolest thing I've ever done. We had so much fun, we were sad when it ended. We felt like we were immersed into culture and I want to do it again ASAP. We met the sweetest people and saw the most amazing beaches. It was truly an experience and I will recommend it to everyone.... Seriously regretting not buying more coffee and cacao.

An absolute amazing way to see Punta Cana! Small tour group (only 3 + 1 guide) that took us on a 100+ mile journey through various areas. It is the best way to see the Dominican culture and interact with people, try their foods and learn their lifestyle. Greet service on pickup and drop-off to/from our resort. You will get some level of dirty! You're in an open air dune buggy driving on the streets, sand, dirt and mud. But it is worth it! We will definitely go again on our next trip to Punta Cana.

These are true vw 4 speed manual dune buggies. We drove all over the countryside, on highways, a long the beach on sand trails, and up in the mountains. The views are breathtaking. We made several stops to meet the locals and for a real home cooked lunch that was better than our resort food. This day trip was the highlight of our vacation, and I highly recommend this adventure.

This tour was the highlight of our vacation. Charlie was an exceptional tour guide and had setup great stops over the whole day. Every stop came with great background and knowledge of some history and stories of where we were. Would highly recommend Xtreme Buggy full day adventure if you are looking to have a day in your vacation. Thanks again Charlie , it was a pleasure getting to know you, we are looking forward to our next trip to Punta Cana and going again. Steve and Mary Bruce

We booked with this company after extensive research and we decided they were the best. We are confident we were not wrong. Ironically, the owner, Angela, hosts YouTube videos my wife was following for months prior to leaving. We think she's awesome and so is her company. We had a small group of four buggies plus the guide Gerhart. Gerhart was an excellent guide, who showed us a lot and a great time. The buggies were awesome. fast, four speed sticks. Being manual transmissions, make sure someone in your group can drive a stick. We like that they show you more of the real island and not the tourists traps. We drove through farmlands, beach sand, mud and some light rain. We also drove on some highways and through some villages. We went to a coffee farm where we tried fresh fruits right from the trees on the farm, drank coffee and cocoa made fresh from the beans of their own trees. Gerhart and the owners of the farm gave us a tour and presentation on how the coffee and cacao is made into consumable coffee and cocoa as well as showing us the other things they grow on the farm, including vanilla and cinnamon. We enjoyed the farm a lot We went to a small shop in a village, where we had fresh squeezed juice, crackers and some really phenomenal cheese as well as getting some education on the local culture. We went to a ranch for lunch and took a pickup ride up to the top of a mountain, Loma Linda. On the mountain, we rode swings on the side of the mountain, accompanied by just our group, Gerhart, the driver and a couple of horses. It was great. We then went down the mountain. swam and cleaned up in a small river and then had a fantastic lunch and talked about the day's adventure. Next, we headed back and, on the way, we stopped at a small farm stand and had fresh coconut and coconut milk right out of the coconut. When we returned to base, we did a group photo, chatted a bit and then met Angela. She's really cool. She dropped us off at the front desk of our resort in a dune buggy, a sight one of the valets said he hadn't seen in his nine years at the resort. He thought it was a great arrival and it sparked a fun conversation and vacation comparisons. I would highly recommend Angela and the Xtreme Buggy crew. If I find my way back to Punta Cana, I will certainly pay them another visit.

TOP!

Awesome tour and a great way to see the island but we did not do everything advertised. Charlie picked us up at the hotel on time and he was very friendly. Raff was our guide and he was great. The buggy’s are well built and have shocks which my body can appreciate. I loved the fact that they do smaller groups. We started out riding the road for a bit and was taken to a house where u get to see how coffee and cacau is made and u can sample. They have items for sale if interested. We then went to a store where u are given a mango drink and some crackers and cheese. We drove some more and then u reach the off road portion. Wear clothes that u don’t care about because u will get wet and muddy. We rode along the beach which was beautiful. As advertised I was expecting to be able to swim at the beach but we only stayed long enough for pics. We stopped at a shack to see how they live. We then went to our lunch destination. There was a sketchy homemade zip line u can try if ur brave enough. The lunch was a traditional Dominican lunch and was delicious. We then had to pack into the back of a pickup truck to go up the mountain. This was a very rough ride especially for my parents that are older. At the top of the mountain it was beautiful and they had swings where u can swing over the side of the mountain. We then went back down the mountain and back on the buggy’s. We stopped at a coconut stand on the side of the road and Raff paid for coconuts for everyone. Then we headed back to the shop with the buggy’s. It was advertised as also including a boat ride, swim at the beach, and horseback riding on the beach. We did not do any of those things. When we got back and asked we were told they no longer offer that and the website has just not been updated which was a bit disappointing since we paid for more. Raff took lots of pics and u can purchase a link to them for $20. Overall it was a great excursion I just wished we had received all the services we expected or at least offered a discount.
