Overview
This catamaran sailing adventure is one of the most relaxing catamaran excursions found in Punta Cana. The catamaran passes along the Punta Cana coastline with splendid views of locals hotels, white sands and swaying palm trees. The first stop you'll make is for snorkeling. Get your gear on and jump in! One of the staff will lead you about the coral reef for some up close and personal views of numerous tropical fish. The second stop is at a natural swimming pool well off the Punta Cana shoreline. In these waist-deep waters, a floating bar is in full swing, making its rounds with drinks, fruit and sandwiches. Cruising back to the original jump-off-point, relax with a drink in your hand, the breeze in your hair, and the music of your choice on the stereo.Itinerary:

This tour service is HORRIBLE. They lied saying they were apart of our resort when they weren’t. They failed to pick our party up and denied giving us a refund. They we’re extremely aggressive and trying to force us to reschedule when we were incapable of doing so. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

My partner & I partook in the Catamaran Cruise and Snorkeling Adventure while recently visiting Punta Cana in mid-March, 2018, and being a big fan of the Catamaran, this was a "must do" for us. The excursion was fun, we enjoyed a nice sail to the natural pool, and cocktails along the way, and prior to hitting the natural pool, we stopped off at a location where those who were interested in doing some snorkeling, could get into the water & enjoy that for a while. The Captain & crew were friendly & engaging, & made us feel welcome, and the value for the money spent (in our opinion) was well worth it. I would very much recommend taking this Catamaran Cruise and Snorkeling Adventure excursion if you are visiting Punta Cana, as the cruise and sights along the way are enjoyable and relaxing.

This was put on by Sol Cana Tours and to begin with the bus ride to and from the place of departure was to be an hour 1/2 each way. We were on the bus almost 5 hours total, so they down right lied about that. The ride to the island on the speed boat was fine but coming back on the Catamaran was a nightmare. They played awful music for the 1.5 hours so loud you could not have a conversation. They refused to turn it down when we requested and even turned it up louder. Both my husband and I had terrible headaches. I don't believe many people were having fun on this trip.The lunch at the island was mediocre at best with warm drinks(no ice). Max the guide treated and herded us like children telling us when to go to the bathroom, not there are bathrooms available here if you would like to use them, when to wash our feet etc. The trip was all about trying to have us spend money ie:taking our pictures and putting it on a rum bottle and "charging us a great price". Max clearly got a cut from that. We could not wait to get back to our resort. It was by far the worst day we have ever had on any vacation ever.

I was mislead by the title of this excursion, there was no sailing! I was on a sailboat but the sails were furled. It was sold as a 4 hour excursion but it lasted only 3 hours. There was about 30 minutes of snorkeling and about 90 minutes of standing in waist deep water drinking a limited amount of offerings. Flippers were not provided only masks. The crew was very nice but I didn't get what I paid for!

Wonderful trip! Everything well organised, the island itself is a paradise, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One minor thing though, our guide left us on the island - he told us where to meet and at what time but when we came there it turned out he'd left already. However, another boat took us with them so no problem about that. Would recommend to anyone - we did love the tour! Bear in mind that you have to pay extra for the lobsters but even without them the lunch was delicious and with the drinks, weather and the sea you can't wish for more.
