The tour loop starts at the main square of Place dArmes (see below for a list of all stops). See the Ancien Palais de Justice (Old Courthouse) built in 1887, and journey back to the early days of New France at Place Royale. In OId Quebec, learn how city founder Samuel de Champlain set up the Habitation de Qubec (think city development, 17th-century style) in 1608. Here, you can admire Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, North Americas oldest stone church dating back to 1688.

Stroll around the waterfront quays of Old Port (Vieux-Port), or walk through the Plains of Abraham, part of Battlefields Park. At the southern end of Old Quebec, get off at the loops final stop and visit the Citadel of Qubec, the largest fortress built by the British in North America that took 30 years to construct. Visit the beautifully preserved Fortifications of Quebec, restored 17th-century walls on top of a cliff towering over the St Lawrence River.

  • It was freezing cold on the bus so if your want to go on the bus take a cap, scarf and something to throw over your legs. It is an interesting city and this bus tour is a great way to see it.

  • Fun to see the town through the eyes of a local. A great tour!

  • Im usually not negative about tours or sightseeing but this one is just TERRIBLE !!!. The bus was very unconfortable. They gave us a phone-guide in English but we could not hear anything as the bus speaker was incredibly loud in Japanese. We ask the guide, if a can call him a guide, to turn the volume down but he and the driver did not know how. I rated one star as I couldnt rate ZERO stars !
Simply a terrible experience and Viator should be ashamed to recommend it. Next time, Ill think twice to book a tour with Viator.

  • Great value went on a few times!!

  • I highly recommend this tour. My tour guide, Doug, was extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating to all questions asked. Very personable, too.

  • Great way to see the city, particularly if you are limited for time.

  • The bus trip is really good with some great information and tips from the guides. It’s always worth doing at least one day to familiarize yourself with the city.

  • Beautiful walled city. My 2days wasn’t enough so I’ll probably come back next time. The tour was amazing. Loved it!
