Yves is a super guide! very knowledgeable and witty, high quality tour which lasted a bit longer than 2 hours but the time flies with this guide, much engaging information and not long walking. Highly recommend!! THANK YOU

More than worthy of its status as a world heritage site, Quebec City has been shaped by layers of history. There's a spectacular vista around every corner and an intriguIng story to go with it. That is why Louise, of Tours Voir Quebec, made such an exceptional guide. Louise's knowledge of First Nations, New France, the British colonial period, and modern Canada is expansive, with lively anecdotes and intriguing biographical asides to leaven the narrative (ask her to explain how a young Captain Nelson's amorous adventure in Quebec nearly changed the course of world history). Louise is a gifted raconteur, witty, generous with personal insights, passionate about her city. She apologized at the end of our 2.5 hour tour for keeping us too long, but I'd have followed her around the whole province to listen to her stories if given the chance. We've enjoyed many walking tours in Europe and across North America. This was one of the two best ever: don't miss this superb opportunity to dive deep into Quebecoise history and culture!

I am a huge fan of walking tours when visiting a new historic city...and this tour did not disappoint! I would highly recommend in order to understand the detail behind the city's history and development.

Not on an organized tour but again the only default available, we docked here on the queen mary2 and stayed here for 3 days,an easy to walk and just wonder around city. this must be one of the most stunning cities I have ever visited, with the chateaux frontier looking over the whole area,a must is the fericular railway up to the chateaux level, it's only $4 each way but its an easy walk back down, and well worth it,look out for the popcorn shop on your way back

Neil Schumacher was nothing short of spectacular. Our bus tour was faced with a Quebec City marathon that blocked the normal route the bus would take. Not to worry. Neil guided the bus driver on alternate routes, ad libbed throughout the tour and had the entire bus laughing at his comedic commentary. He even guided the bus to his home where he asked his wife (a University professor) to come out and introduce herself. She too had a great sense of humor - playing right along with Neil. With all the repartee’, Neil had a deep knowledge of Quebec history. None of the obstacles kept us from learning or being entertained. If Neil is guiding, book the tour!

Louise was great. Knew where to go, where to skip and had a great knowledge of the history of Quebec.

We rarely do guided walking tours as they are often too long and overly-detailed, so we prefer to grab a map and explore ourselves. So glad we opted for this tour though! Paul, our guide, was so passionate about his city and made the tour really interesting. The 2 hours flew by but we learned a great deal ... so much so that we are already planning a return trip to Quebec in the Winter ... such a beautiful city!

Our first full day in Quebec's old city and we took the Grand Walking Tour with our tour guide, Robert Simard. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Quebec and the architecture, as well as being sensitive to the needs of the group. He has a fun sense of humor and made walking around upper and lower Quebec quite an adventure. We highly recommend taking the walking tour to get a feel for the city and what the next day's adventure will be.

A knowledgeable guide and thorough tour, but a little too much historical detail to absorb. We would have enjoyed more commentary relating to current affairs, culture, food and art.
