Overview
A delicious and fascinating guided walking tour of the iconic Queen Victoria Market. Taste the freshest produce, discover unique ingredients, learn tips and tricks for shopping and cooking, discover the Market's history and meet some of our beloved traders. A two-hour guided walking tour includes generous tastings, Market shopping bag and Market voucher.
Tastings are dependent on what is fresh on the day but usually include fresh seafood, grilled peppered kangaroo, a selection of local cheese, fresh dips, seasonal gelati and more. This small-group tour is limited to 10 food-lovers per guide.

Great tour! Such a great way to see the markets and get a taster for some of the different foods on offer. The truffle pasta was delicious, and smoked cheddar? YUM. The guides were amazing - you can tell they live and breathe the markets and the kind people who work there. Will definitely be recommending this tour to others

Our bellies and hearts were full with this ultimate foodie tour at Queen Victoria Markets. Within 10 minutes of the tour starting we were sampling a range of beautiful mussel dishes and I was already smacking my lips over the chili coconut mussels and sipping up the sauce with bread. Then it was kangaroo steak, a few wonderful cheeses, some very tasty fruit and finally 2 hours later a famous jam donut! Lunch was not required. Our guide, Irene, was absolutely lovely and shared here knowledge and passion for the markets, the history, the people and the food. Even our teen enjoyed it all!

Fascinating tour of a historic building with plenty to see and lovely tastings. Irene was a very knowledgeable guide. We’re able to meet and chat with a variety of stallholders as well as taste. Irene covered the interesting history and was able to answer all our questions. Highly recommend!

This was a very memorable experience and I highly recommend it. The tour was very well organized from the easy process for booking to the tour itself. Very responsive to questions. Mercellez, our gracious guide, provided interesting information about the market's history and the families that run various stalls. The food and product sampling was comprehensive and delicious!

This tour gives a great overview of the history of the Market’s genesis. Bring a good appetite and a bottle of water for the tour, and be prepared for a great time!

The tour is interesting if you like listening stories more than trying different foods. I have done food tours in other countries. I regret a little bit about the money spent. It would be better to use that money and walk around and buy different foods and talk with the vendors myself. I would get more value.
