I was there during autumn holidays in October.although there was a loooong que and it was raining heavily we passed the line very quickly. Do not refommend to go there on weekend cause there are too much people and you cannot even listen thr tour agrnt whom we paid 300-400yuan for an hour.

We booked a private tour as had a full day planned which involved other venues. First stop was the souvenir shop and I think this was because we had opted in for the "make your own warrior". There was nothing wrong with this but basically you just put a bit of clay into a mold, press it out and then have to leave it there so fun, but a bit of extra cost and extra time spent you could miss. The shop is fine and has nice toilets etc. but you do feel pressure to buy as you are allocated a "server" who follows you around explaining things for you which some people may find useful but it made us feel like we had to purchase something. The warriors themselves no words can describe, you simply have to go and see them. You can also pay a little extra and get a little shuttle ride to the museum doors if you don't ant to walk (helpful if elderly or walking issues).

Couldn't believe my eyes! There are so many warriors ! The history is fantastic. The museum and exhibition is excellent. There are tons of visitors but it's still worth it! Avoid the tourist shops.... they try to rip you off!

Kai was an amazing guide! We were picked up at the airport with him and our driver. The car was nice and we felt very safe with the driver. They also had bottles of water for us in the car. Kai was really informative and really thoughtful about how we wanted to spend our time. He gave us various options for lunch but we chose to not stop and he was happy to skip lunch. While at the museum, he showed us around and gave us time to wonder ourselves as he waited at all the exits. When we were dropped off, he even came into the hotel with us to make sure there were no problems and we were able to check-in. He also gave us suggestions on places to eat and other things to see/do! His English was very close to perfect! We would absolutely book this again!

I wish we had longer, but if you only have half a day in Xi'an, this is a must take tour. Our guide Lin, meet us at the hotel on time and ready to to go. She was professional, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. She knew her way around, was clear with all information and very funny. After the tour we had a traditional lunch and tea, all excellent. I hope to come back with more time and do another tour with her. You will not regret the fantastic guide and amazing sites of the terracotta warriors.

Exceptional tour from start to finish from Eddie who met us at our lobby and on the drive out to the TC Warriors struck up a great rapport. We had packed our bags as we needed to be dropped off at the North Station (instead of the airport) and there was no issues leaving them in the car for the duration. Eddie whisked us through the entrance magically providing umbrellas for the initial downpour and also gave us ear pieces so he could talk us through where to go and what to see without having to be beside us (The TC pits are super crowded so this was an excellent offering only costing 20RMB each) We visited on a Sunday and needed to be at the north Station by 12 and as we were there at 9 am we actually finished the tour part in an hour (Seeing and hearing absolutely every nuance) then spent 45 mins browsing the shop, having a coffee and left via the shop where The farmer who found the site signs an autographed book along with photos (200RMB) and were reunited with our driver and luggage. Eddie further suppressed himself by insisting on collecting our prepaid train tickets from Xi'an train station (which is larger than most airline terminals and also understandably very Chinese). Best tour and guide to date by far

There are so many tour options for the Terra-cotta Warriors that it can be overwhelming. We are a couple from the US. I picked this tour because seeing this was one of my top things to do on our trip to China. I liked the fact that it could be scheduled at the time we wanted and that we would not have to keep with a group. It did not disappoint. Our guide Rosa was exceptional. Her English was excellent and her tour was perfect. First, she picked us up at our hotel and on the way explained the history of the Qin emperor and how the tomb came to be. It was fascinating and really set the stage for the trip to the warriors. At the warriors, she started us with a quick look at the bronze chariots in Pit 2 where you can see how the site looks before excavating the warriors. She showed us the various warriors you can see close-up and explained to us the differences in uniform, facial hair and hair style. It was fascinating and brought extra dimension to the rest of the trip. I’m so glad we started there. Next we saw Pit 3 and then finally Pit 1, which is where the largest group is. This is the perfect order. Rosa was amazing as she knew exactly where to go and what to do and helped us get through the crowds and see all the best angles. She also continued to give us great information throughout the trip. I literally cannot say clearly enough how wonderful our day was and that is due to 2 things (1) Rosa and (2) the amazing Warriors. This is an expensive tour but we felt it was worth every penny. We were very pleased. Thank you, Rosa!

This is a fascinating piece of Chinese history absolutely incredible. We hired a taxi to and from the Terracotta Warriors museum. We booked online through travelchinaguide.com. Cost same as ticket office.120RMB. Pick up ticket from left of main ticket office so you don't have to wait in huge queues. Also get there early we arrived at 8:30 when it opened. Able to get good viewing. Allow 3 hours. When we were leaving queues were huge.
