The whole trip was fantastic. Great group of Kiwi’s and Aussies. Even though it wasn’t a day for good views at lookouts we all still enjoyed ourselves. Great cheeses and shopping at first stop. Most impressive lunch. Wines were okay. Chocolate shop and more shopping went down a treat. Guide was lovely and informative.

Tour guide exceptional, Montville village, rain forest walk, nut factory were my favourite things.. Knowledge of guide and his stories were so informative. He created the whole day..

  • 09-Jul-2022

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Geoff was a great host and very knowledgeable. The weather wasn’t great but we still got to do everything as planned.

  • 25-Apr-2022

Although the weather was not great the day tour was fantastic thanks to our wonderful guide and the beautiful Hinterland.

  • 18-Apr-2022

We were lucky to be the only 2 people on the tour. We live locally but hadn't been to most of the places that Jeff took us to. Jeff's knowledge of the Sunshine Coast was amazing and interesting. We were both impressed on Jeff's ability to read the situation and give us time alone but also show us key spots and recount history. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and even the little touches of putting our chocolates in his esky were noticed. I highly recommend this tour even if you are a local.

  • 12-Apr-2021

Really enjoyed our day out around the hinterlands driven in a small group of 4 with Jeff as our guide. We liked all parts of the day but had to particularly single out the lunch spot as a hidden gem. Jeff was really knowledgeable and friendly.

  • 23-Oct-2020

A wonderful day full of historic information from our knowledgable guide Jeff. Thanks Jeff for making our day fun and special for us. Lunch at Secrets on the Lake was delightful.

  • 16-Feb-2020

We were fortunate to have our tour guide, Geoff, all to ourselves for the day so reaped the rewards of all of his knowledge of the areas and his enthusiasm for so many of the places visited. The damage to the area by recent bushfires and current flooding made us even more aware of the fragility of the area, with Geoff providing us with lots of background to the events. There were so many lovely parts to the tour that it is difficult to select just a few. However, some of the highlights for me were the walk through the rainforest ( and my encounters with little wallabies), the view though mist of the Glass Mountains, the clock shop in Montville and the delicious lunch provided in that town, the extra stop at the cheese shop ( and , yes, Geoff, we were able to bring our cheeses through customs without any problems!), together with Geoff’s almost inexhaustible supply of local folk tales and other stories. We thoroughly recommend this trip.
