Hold on tight on this exciting, four-wheel drive, jeep ride in the heart of Dry Creek Basin. This trail will surely amaze you as make your way through the floor of the canyon.

On this 2 hour tour, you will stop off at the historic Van Deren Cabin which is one of many homesteads dating back to 1924. Scenes from the Western Blood on the Moon were filmed at this Cabin. The movie was released in 1948 and stars Robert Mitchum, Barbara Bel Geddes and Robert Preston - a must see after you visit the Cabin.

You will also hear stories of its past and learn about the flora, fauna, history, geology and folklore of the area. Relive the early cowboy days with tales of murder and moonshine.

If you're on the afternoon tour, orange, pink and red hues are cast on the rocks at sunset time, making this an unforgettable experience.

      Firefox was our amazing guide on this excellent adventure. He taught us so much about the landscape, history, and stories of Sedona. It’s a bumpy ride for sure, but the seats are cushioned and they have seat warmers, so much better than we expected. We would 100% do this again, with Firefox as our guide!

      We had a private tour with our guide Firefox. He was great and very knowledgeable about the area. Red Rock is absolutely beautiful. What a great way to see it up close. Definitely worth checking out.

      The views are out of this world! Our guide, Colorado, was terrific. He was perfect for such a great tour. He stopped for photo ops whenever we asked and offered some stops of his own. We enjoyed seeing and hearing about the history of the old cabin. His knowledge and understanding of the area and the indigeous people added so much more than just a bumpy ride in an open jeep. Did I say bumpy?! Seatbelts were our best friends. We laughed a lot as we were jostled and bounced around at the breakneck speeds of, I assume, 3 to 5 MPH. Will plan to schedule tours with this group, and of course Colorado, whenever I want to show visitors what amazing people and places our state has to offer.

      Joe our tour guide and driver was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed his company. Ask for Joe! The four of us were treated to an enjoyable trip. It was bumpy and rough terrain though we always felt safe.
