  • This was a great tour. Our tour guide Juliana was very knowledgeable and has the perfect personality for this type of work. I would highly recommend this tour. You see many of the highlights of Rio and some out of the way places too. It was interesting to see the beauty of Santa Teresa and also the grittiness of the Santa Marta Favela. The views from the Christ the Redeemer statue are not to be missed!

  • The tour was very interesting, especially the Santa Marta Favela. We always like to see the real city and not just the tourist areas. It was a pleasure the spend the day with our guide Gui who was attentive and informative. Be aware that there is a lot of walking and steep, uneven stairs to maneuver.

  • Outstanding. Fantastic tour in the hands of Julianna. This is a great way to spend one precious sightseeing day in Rio. The favela visit was very special and we were well looked after at every step of the way.

  • Had a great time even in the rain with Julianna - very knowledgable and entertaining guide. A great thing to do on the first day to get orientated with such a big, diverse city.

  • Amazing tour that takes in most of the sites in one hit. Ask for Gabi as she helped make it such a fun day!

  • Really full day seeing lots of attractions, bus tram train travel. Great way to get around. Guide Juliana was more than amazing, and really looked after us well and very knowledgeable.

  • The tour fulfilled all our expectations, that is, touring Rio from a local perspective. Our guide Juliana Matos was knowledgeable and very friendly, it was a pleasure taking the tour with her. The visit to the favela was very enlightening and it was really interesting meeting the guide from the favela.

  • Alex our guide was terrific and gave us lots of information about Rio and the sights. It was a lot of walking on uneven surfaces and a ride in a completely packed van up the Christ the Redeemer mountain, late in the day after climbing up and down the Favela. We had no time for lunch, and probably not enough water....so I got very motion sick in the hot van taking on the many, many sharp curves up the mountain. I am a 70 something person, and wouldn't advise this tour for my age group. Alex however, was most kind as were my fellow tour companions and I got back to my hotel via taxi.

  • Our tour guide was Juliana Matos, she had the most amazing energy and good vibes, she kept the tour always cheerful, interesting and enthusiastic. We took the full day and it never got tiring. She went the extra mile for us because Corcovado was completely cloudy and she took us to a spot where we could get the views. The favela tour is a must in rio.

  • We had an AMAZING tour of Rio!!!
