After boarding in the hotels in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, you will continue to the Tropical Islands "Itacurua" passing by Avenida Brasil. The arrival at Itacurua buay is scheduled for 10:30 am. After arriving at the pier, you will board on the boat, and you will continue along the beautiful tropical islands and beaches of Mangaratiba Bay, with stops for swimming.
You will be on board a traditional Brazilian schooner and sail over the shimmering waters of the Bay toward Ilha de Jaguanum, the largest of the tropical islands located in the pristine bay. Keep an eye out for abundant marine life such as commonly spotted dolphins, giant kingfishers, parrots, sea turtles and stingrays as you sail.
Enjoy a morning snack with a selection of mouthwatering tropical fruits and relax with a drink from the onboard bar (own expense). Your crew makes a stop for a delightful dip in a secluded spot before continuing on to the tropical isle of Ilha de Jaguanum. Here, a buffet lunch is served, including meat, chicken, fish, black beans, rice, and a variety of salads and desserts.
During the boat ride, you will have to stop for lunch on an island. After lunch, we will return to the Itacurua bay at the end of the day, around 5:00 p.m., to return to Rio de Janeiro, expected to arrive at 7:00 p.m.
