  • Great fun great way to see the city so many places you wouldn't get to see and guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We try to do a bike ride wherever we go as we get to see so much more.

  • The tour is more of a bike ride with a leader, less of a tour of the city. We didn't feel like we learned as much as we have on bike tours of other cities we've done, and ended up wishing we'd done a walking tour instead. None the less, the tour guide and bike staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful.

  • We took the electric bike tour the evening we arrived in Rome. It was a wonderful way to see the city. The evening tour started around 5pm and finished around 830pm. The guide was knowledgeable and the boost from the electric bike made the route easy. Despite the heat of the day, the evening ride was very comfortable. Loved seeing the lights come on in the city as evening fell-just made everything seem more dramatic.

  • It was a great bike tour, the guide knew a LOT and shared. I felt like timing was good, it was about 4 hours. I was glad we ate breakfast before hand. I would have loved to have a few more photo op stops as we had limited time in Rome and used this as a way for us to see a lot. Otherwise very informative and fun, never felt unsafe from a traffic perspective as you spend a lot of time off the beaten path and taking smaller streets that aren't busy, which is appreciated. Otherwise electric bikes were awesome after a long few days of traveling it was an active but not over the top activity. For sure worth it.

  • This was part of the best vacation ever! We loved our bike tour and even though Chad made fun of me for getting the electric bikes he loved them too! Theres no way we could have seen so much in just one morning any other way! August was a great time too since its vacation time for local residents and there were less people at most places. Theres also a great little coffee shop at the end of the street we went while we waited for the bike shop to open, we are always early for everything! I just thought the entire tour was very personal and wonderful, enjoyed the other riders too! Thanks so much!

  • Amazing tour and experience.

  • Emmanuel was a great tour guide. The tour was extensive and well-paced. We visited the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Trajan's Column, the Pantheon, and a little of the Jewish neighborhood. We stopped for some fantastic gelato and always had enough water to stay hydrated. We were a group of 10, which was perfect and all of us looked out for one another and took turns in the lead with Emmanuel.
We were originally booked for the previous day but we mistakenly thought it was the next day. The tour operator was extremely gracious and accommodating allowing us to participate on the day we showed up. The bikes were in excellent condition and we were outfitted with proper-fitting helmets and a bottle of water. Emmanuel ensured all riders knew how to use the electric-assist in a small square before we headed out to the Colosseum as a group. He ensured were all always accounted for and ensured we were all safe from traffic.
Would definitely do this again! Amazing time, amazing guide, amazing sites, and amazing bikes!

  • What can we say other than AMAZING! Thank you Frederico for your amazing commentary, advice and care. Thank you Top Bike Rental. So well organised. This was the highlight of our trip. Saw Rome in a different light. Meandered through back streets and main roads with upmost safety. We went back during our week in Rome to the places that Frederico advised to have a good look at in our own time. Highly recommended.

  • Our tour guide, Frederico, was great. Very informative and enthusiastic about his job/city. I asked about one of the sights that was not a part of the tour, and he added it we got to make an extra stop and take pics! The electric assist was amazing...don't think we could've completed this tour without it! Only thing I would change is we only rode by the Colosseum. It would have been nice to stop, take pics, and hear about some of the history, but luckily it was a quick walk from the BikeTours office so we went back afterward.

  • It's a good way to explore the entire city in one go, without much effort. If you leave the battery on the highest setting turbo you will still only use up like half it's juice, so don't sweat and make sure you're getting every bit of power out of it, especially on the uphills. Our guide was quiet and didn't talk much more than the essentials at each spot, so you may want to complement the tour with a audio podcast of the places you visit.
