Know More about this tour

Meet your guide in Piazza del Popolo in central Rome, and then set off on your 2-hour walking tour to explore the central streets leading into the labyrinth of narrow alleys ending in the luxury and elegance of the Spanish Steps neighborhood. As you walk your guide will point out examples of beautiful Baroque architecture and design. You'll stop at a renowned Caffè Greco to sample one of the capitals finest espressos. This historical cafe, visited by some of the most famous artists and writers of the 18th and 19th centuries, holds a prestigious reputation around the world. Continue walking to the Trevi Fountain, certainly one of the worlds most celebrated fountains. Your guide will lead you into the past, traveling through Time, as you reach on of the most mystical edifices ever built: the Pantheon. Inside, you will hear about it's secret, and also learn the story of how Raphael one of the greatest Renaissance painters was buried there. Piazza Navona is one of the largest squares of Rome, where you shall see Bernini's famous Fountain of the Four Rivers. During the morning stroll, you'll then head to a lively Roman market to indulge in some of the countrys popular gastronomic pleasures. Meet some of the friendly traders and sample their wares, trying crumbling chunks of pungent Reggiano and the golden Extra-Virgin olive oil. There is plenty of free time to stroll the market, if you want to buy some typical delicacies. Finally, you'll walk to Campo de Fiori, a historical neighborhood full of trendy cafes and vintage boutiques all exuding Roman charm. Wander through tucked away hidden streets that even locals don't know about, and the narrow streets that speak to Rome's rich history.
