My husband and I did a private e-bike tour of the Appian Way with Massimo. Having never ridden an e-bike before, I was a little nervous, but it couldn't have been easier. Massimo gave us a fabulous tour of this ancient cobblestone road that leads into Rome, pointing out so many ancient ruins and areas of interest. At one point, a herd of goats ran past us. So fun and unexpected! Definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time on our bike tour with MichelaSofia! It happened to be raining on our trip, but Michela went out of her way to make the tour work for us, including a stop to tour the catacombs to wait for better weather. It was such a great way to explore Rome!

What a fantastic way to explore bits of Rome! Our guide, Julia, was outstanding and tailored our tour to suit our needs with children ages 8 and 11. She was informative and held our attention well with a broad range of sites and time periods. She used the right amount of caution needed for safely riding the bikes and equipped us w helmets. We highly recommend both e-biking as well as our guide, Julia. This was a treat from beginning to end!

We had a fantastic time with Sergio! He was knowledgeable, patient, and fun to hang out with! The ebike tour was a little tough for our 10 year old but the scenery in the country was amazing! We would recommend time with Sergio on any tour!

Julia was a very knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. It was so fun to get outside of the city for the day and see the countryside.

Chiara was absolutely wonderful! The Apian way was such a surprise to us in Rome —been to Rome several times and I have never seen it. The e-bikes made it so enjoyable! Chiara thank you for all your kindness and incredible knowledge of Rome!!

Ended up being a private tour for my wife and I as no one else joined. What an absolutely wonderful experience! Our guide Andy was phenomenal; knowledgeable, fun, and paced the trip well. Started at Circus Maximus headed through the city and out onto the Appian Way. Andy stopped frequently to explain the history of various villas, and other sites along the way; he was very knowledgeable about the history, answering our questions and engaging in conversation as we biked. He was polite, professional, friendly, and absolutely delightful. Because we were not part of a larger group and were reasonably comfortable on the bikes we covered a lot of ground and got to see quite a bit of the Appian Way. We had a beautiful day for the ride, and honestly of the various tours we did this was one of my favorites. Outdoors, a little bit of exercise (though not too much as the bikes did some of the work), getting outside of Rome was fun, learning about life and history outside the walls of Rome made for a wonderful outing. I only wish it had been longer.

We met our guide Ferdinando for our first ever electric bike tour. After a practice run around the Circus Maximus we set off. The trip was wonderful, fabulous sites stopping off along the way for Ferdinando to explain certain points. He was very knowledgeable and very interesting. I would like to add he was very attentive, and patient, a true asset to the LivTours team, thanks for a great and memorable day

An easy, ‘no hassle’ and fun way to explore the Appia Antica. Andy was great! He gave a curated tour with digestible information and humor appropriately peppered in!

Yesterday we spent the most fantastic four hours with Roma STARBIKE cycling three beautiful parks surrounding Rome with ancient aqueducts and monuments. Followed by the highlight of the tour cycling on the ancient Appian Way - absolutely spectacular. Flávio our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and very good company. He brought our surroundings to life and guided us excellently through short street journeys and countryside. We’d not experienced e bikes before but they were very easy and fun - loved the small turbo charge up the hills! This tour was our highlight of Rome and thoroughly recommend.
