Know More about this tour

This extended late afternoon / early evening experience includes the Pantheon of the Gods, Roman Holiday's Trevi Fountain (bring a bag of coins!), historic buildings and monuments, ancient temples of unparalleled beauty, and all the must-see places which make Rome the jewel city of Europe.

For many, the magnificent Pantheon is considered to be the most well-preserved ancient temple in existence. Michelangelo himself was so impressed with it's omnipotent architecture that when he espied it for the first time, he proclaimed it of Godlike, not human design.

Everyone knows about the Trevi Fountain, the largest and best-loved beautiful fountain in Rome! Since Fendi's costly clean-up 3 years ago, the fountain presents a surreal beauty to all viistors, so much so that many sit by the waters for hours in awe and admiration. Toss your coins into the blue to ensure that you will return to Rome one day! This is most important.
What lies beneath Piazza Navona is the ancient Circus of Domitian, one of the most important must-see subterranean archaeological sites of ancient Rome which is your final destination on this, our newly extended Rome walk under the stars!

  • Tour guide barely talked. He was quiet, negative and seemed uninterested. We had to stop the tour almost an hour early because we felt that he was literally ruining our first night in Rome.TERRIBLE!

  • The tour guide, Patrick was knowledgeable but quite dry. Many of the sites shown were off the main attraction track which was great. As the rating shows, the tour was good, not great.

  • This was our first tour in Rome and I'm so glad we booked It! Our tour guide was a gentleman who is from Dublin and has been living in Rome for 18 years! You can tell his love for the city. Our group was only three persons and it was perfect since we were able to freely converse and ask questions.

  • Great guide!! He shared stories, pictures and truly great information on landmarks and history.

  • This tour guide provided so much information about not just the ruins, but also the neighborhoods, people, and local info.

  • Loved our tour guide Robert, who was an expert in Roman history. He made it even more interesting with bits of information that we will remember our experience! So glad we did this tour, we even called the number on our booking to let them know that we were running late. The street where you meet is a main road and has so much to see just on that street.

  • A good way to start sightseeing in Rome when you arrive in the late afternoon. Our guide was very good and his communication with us was excellent as he got in touch with us in the early afternoon to confirm time and pick up. Because we were the only people on this tour he accommodated us by making the pickup at our hotel because due to a late train we would not have made it to the normal meeting place. This was perfect for us. He showed many places that are always on the tourist list when in Rome but also took us to some areas that we may not have got to visit or learn about and gave a very good commentary. Definitely recommend this tour.

  • This tour was very comprehensive. Although advertised as a 2-hour tour, our guide, James, put so much knowledge and energy in to it that he took us to many, many sites even a late hour entrance inside the Pantheon which made the tour over 3 hours even at a fast pace. Although we 5 women in our 70s found it somewhat difficult to keep up, It was an excellent tour!!!

  • Pleasant with a very interesting guide who told lots of great stories and took through some really interesting alleyways. Rome is lovely at night.

  • Tour was good and guide was very friendly.. highly recommended...
