Our driver, Chris, made the trip So much fun, providing the history of each site and answering all of our general questions with wit and charm.

Steaphan B was a good driver. He was personable and had a great sense of when to engage with the group and when to let us relax (read: fall asleep after our lunch stop). He was honest in what he did and did not know and oftentimes deferred to ‘the experts’ at the sites…which was appreciated. He timed the stops well…giving sufficient time to capture the critical essence of each stop (please understand…you are traveling to multiple sites, so determining what is ‘enough’ time at each location is not a ‘one size fits all’ approach). If you are a person who finds history somewhat interesting, but are not too fanatical, your interest would be piqued by the beauty held in the landscape and architecture, alone. If you are a person like me, who finds history absolutely amazing…this tour hit hard. To imagine troops amassed on the picturesque fields of Bannockburn; to imagine Stirling Castle in its heyday (and that you are walking the same ground giants of history walked); to imagine the construction of Rosslyn; and to see the resting place of the real Braveheart, King Robert the Bruce, and imagine what his tomb could have looked like…absolutely fascinating. If you were wondering, the drive time was well-spaced. We never felt we were driving for too long. Definitely recommend!

The tour was awesome, we had a great time! Our tour guide Alex was great! Very funny and a natural guide! He answered everything we asked and helped us research what to do for the coming days! We will definitely repeat that tour!

We had a wonderful time, it was a great experience to learn about Scottish history. Our driver Alex was wonderful and knowledgeable about the area and it's history. It's so much better than renting a car and doing it on your own.

What a wonderful day filled with history, and even conspiracies at Roslyn Chapel. Chris and Trainee Paul were our guides. They were both very educational and had a great sense of humor. Chris was great at diverting questions from some members back to the topic at hand. I was traveling with my disabled mother and both Chris and Paul made it a point to always be patient with her and were very kind with assisting her on and off the bus. We had a wonderful day and very much loved this tour.

Maj was a wonderful tour guide. His commentary on the bus was fun. We had plenty of time to see what we can to see during each of the three tours.

We had a great day trip from Edinburgh to Dunfermline Abbey, Stirling Castle and Rosslyn Chapel even though it rained all morning! In true Scottish fashion the sun came out as we made our way to the beautiful Rosslyn Chapel. We enjoyed being able to visit these three important historical sites. Our driver Graham was cheerful and informative.

Each stop was interesting, filled with history and very enjoyable. Travel time between stops was just right.

Good tour. Stirling Castle was really beautiful, great stop. Rosslyn Chapel was also beautiful. Great information from onsite guides there. Dunfermline was interesting, great history and connection to Scottish hero Robert the Bruce. Really enjoyed this day. Only downside was our driver had never done this tour before and seemed to be unsure of himself and unsure what info to provide. Once again I was hoping for more of a guided tour at each place instead of a drop off and see ya later.

The Rosslyn chapel was amazing and the guide explanations were outstanding. The Stirling Castle was also quite good.
