The points we scheduled to visit were great. The tour guides that were subcontracted were very, very bad.

Grant was our tour guide and was very pleasant and took care of us . We did not feel rushed during the trip. He explained everything in detail.

My mum and I travelled through Cheeky Kiwi Travel on 24th August 2019. We were picked up from our hotel we were staying and travelled in a small group to Rotorua and visited Te Puia. We looked at the Pohutu Geyser, mud pools, Thermal valley and Kiwi House. We then watched a Maori performance, followed by a traditional Maori Buffet lunch. The food was absolutely amazing! Then we travelled back home with a laid back relaxing feel. Louise and Andre were great tour guides. Very accommodating.

Didn’t know what to expect as this is my first time travelling too New Zealand with my mum. It was almost like a private tour with just us and one another person! And our tour guide Louise certainly did not disappoint! She was absolutely amazing, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in seeing such outstanding scenery in the geothermal parks, and immersing yourself in the culture of the land. Certainly would also recommend this tour operator and Louise as a tour guide to get the most out of your experience! Thankyou again Louise for leaving such a great impression!!! 😊

I went on the Rotorua tour in May and the experience was nothing but amazing. Our tour guide Krag was very knowledgeable on all things Auckland and New Zealand. During the cultural performance, he made sure we had some of the best seats in the house. There was a total of three people when I did this tour so it was small and intimate. This is a must due!

Our guide was Lance. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. Deep knowledge of Maori culture, the local geography and economy, sights along the way. His humor and good cheer made a 12+ hour tour fly by. He skillfully handled the driving even as he narrated the entire day. Just a wonderful adventure. We definitely would not have made the drive to Te Puia on our own. Well worth the cost.
