This was a hassle free ferry trip, went to the vendor, and was given my pre booked tickets, However I will add that the Mexico 11 boat service do offer one way trips for 45 pesos, thats 90 return. Which is around a fiver or less. You could take a chance on this offer while you are over.

I enjoyed the ferry to and back from Cozumel. Its about a 40 minute trip one way and the view is great. I will say that if you decide to ride the ferry, sit near one of the air conditioners onboard. On our trip to Cozumel we sat near the window and regretted it. The ferry back was much more enjoyable as we sat under the AC.

We had no problems at all will our Barcos Caribe ferry ride between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. We arrived at the Playa del Carmen ferry just minutes before 5 with luggage, had a bit of a walk through the shopping area to the ferry dock but made it on time. They quickly took our luggage and stored it. The ride was 45 minutes with comfortable seats. Our return trip was also very good. Luggage was easily checked and unloaded quickly when we arrived. All luggage is tagged and we were given claim tickets and numbers are compared before giving out the luggage back out. Much cheaper than other options and was a great ride.

it was easy. just go to the barcos caribe office and they will give you your round trip tickets so you don't have to wait in line on the way back. The only thing is that I think it was cheaper to buy it there but it was nice to know I didn't have to wait.

We had our voucher for the Ferry, but had no idea that our voucher went with a certain Ferry company and did not know where to go. There are several companies by the ferry. The voucher is not used to get on the Ferry. You have to find the company to get your tickets they are holding for you. We did feel we got a competitive price for the ferry through Viator, but getting a ferry ticket is very easy at the check point and Viator is not necessarily needed. It actually made it more confusing due to lack of information from Viator on what to do.

very fast-rough seas at first. a little confusing on boarding-3 ferries loading at same time/terminal packed. why not stagger the times by 15 minutes to make it easier to get on the right boat? overall,a great price and experience.
