  • Excellant value for money. We chose the 48hour majestic. On our first day we did Holyrood House and Edinburgh castle, using the city excursion bus to get to these venues. Day 2 Royal Yacht Brittania, again using bus to get to the venue. The ticket included fast track access to these attractions which made a big difference as we were visiting during school half term. Used all 3 bus tours over the 2 days making the most of the on board commentary. Staff at Ticket office were very helpful advising what things to do in which order as the time we visited also co-incided with a Royal visit so to avoid being caught in the traffic this helped a lot with our plan. Staff at the Waverley bus stand were also great for advice and information.. Definatly a great way to get an overview of the city and excellant value for money if you visit the 3 included attractions.

  • Buses are clean, comfortable and on time.
    Free wifi and USB.
    Loved it!

  • Edinburgh castle was truly worthy of the ticket! The views were wonderful and

  • This ticket was brilliant, we did a complete bus tour with guide, then used the different buses on seperate occasions to get to the castle, Holy Rood and the Royal Yacht, all included in the price. Simple to use and really frequent.

  • We did the three bus tours available and they were all very nice and enlightening. All staff we spoke to were very helpful. Only one of the tours had a guide on board and the other two had a recording. I understand that it is difficult to have a guide on every bus and therefore am not complaining or unhappy, just would have been nice to have a guide on all tours : We didn't have time to do the Holyrood palace or the Jact but we did do Edinburgh castle and it was spectacular and it was very good not having to queue for the tickets.

  • Great value trip covers all the key things to see in Edinburgh and skips the lines! Easy to redeem for your bus ticket at the booth in town. Highly recommended.

  • Great value, and visiting HMY Britannia was a highlight of our trip.

  • Excellent valu for money.

  • What a surprising and fantastic city. There are few places we have been that we have enjoyed as much. Firstly almost whatever you think Edinburgh is like you are wrong, This city is like a place out of time, I can only think that it's look and feel is a leftover from the 1800's for the most part, and that during WWII it just did not see the same kind of destruction that most of Europe experienced. Take the hop on/off bus to start, and get a good feel for the city then take your time and look around. We had so much fun just walking around and looking at
this fantastic city. Take at least 2 or 3 days and experience this city.

  • Seemed a bit of deceptive advertising -- Hop-On Hop-Off is good only for one calendar day, NOT for the duration of the multi-day Pass.

Also, the Pass Card itself is irrelevant for Hop-On Hop-Off -- the Bus Driver looks only and only accepts the receipt from picking up the Pass.

On the whole, however, the Ticket / Pass was well worth the price and provided good access to several major attractions in the city. Edinburgh Castle was especially enjoyable.
