Stop At: Pisac, Pisac, Sacred valley, Cusco Region
Travel back in time to the Sacred Valley of the Incas with a day that begins in Pisac. This native town was once where exchange transactions took place. In this type of transaction, customers would exchange one good for another instead of using currency. Visit the market of Pisac where you can purchase beautifully crafted products hand-made by the locals.
On Sunday, the main attraction is a mass celebrated in Quechua and conducted in Spanish. It is attended by the mayors and their attendants who play traditional musical instruments called "pututos."
Afterwards, you'll enjoy a typical Peruvian lunch (included in price) before visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo and its main attraction, the Temple of the Sun. Built using massive stones, each one approximately 12 feet (3.5m) tall, this temple was used as a fortress during the time of the Incan civil war.

Best tour guide I have had in years, I have traveled on six continents and 40 countries and have done many tours. Raul was great extremely knowledgeable and had many visual aids. He obviously loves his work.

A very interesting day out, lovely craft markets and Inca ruins with time to explore on your own! Good lunch too!

It was a wonderful day trip hosted by the local tour group via Viator. The places we visited was historical and beautiful. The food/lunch was very good. Additionally, our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, professional, patient, and flexible. It was a nice day trip that you don't want to miss.

A great tour of the Sacred Valley and tour company Viajes Pacifico. The Guide was from Ollantaytambo and was very knowledgeable! The included lunch was awesome, a full buffet with lots to choose from.
-
The tour itself was very well rounded, went to all the great spots..had a good amount of time to ourselves and the stops that we went to for markets to sell us stuff we learned a great deal about the culture so I didn’t feel like they were just trying to get us to buy things.Ernesto is phenomenal!!!! He was so knowledgeable, welcomed Any questions and you could tell he was so passionate about his work! He really made the trip enjoyable! The lunch buffet! Location beautiful and food was so good! Lastly the driver was so good at driving a big bus up and down curvy mountain roads!

Our guide was first class, he was clear, respectful of the schedule. He oratory skills are great, I would recommend him.

One of the reasons my husband and I selected this tour from the tour company VIAJES PACIFICO was because hotel pick up and drop off were included. The day before our excursion, we received a message from VIAJES PACIFICO stating the Wyndham Cusco Saqsayhuaman Hotel was not a hotel and we would therefore have to take a taxi to and from their main office for our excursion. We did not have time to cancel and book with a different travel agency so had to pay extra for taxi services. What was most confusing to us is that our excursion the day before was also through VIAJES PACIFICO and they did pick us up and drop us off at our hotel for our Machu PIcchu excursion. I would not recommend this tour company since they do not honor the inclusions they state you are paying for. Our email to this company requesting a discount or taxi fees be paid, has still not been returned to date.

This was a great tour to get a short glimpse of each of these cities. Would definitely recommend if you have limited time in Peru.
