Overview

In this tour, we will drive from your hotel to Sagging Hill - known as the center for meditation with hundreds of Pagodas, Monasteries and Nunneries tucked into the surrounding valleys and hills. Proceed to   U Min Thonze, Pagoda of the  30 Caves which have many Buddha images in a crescent shaped colonnade and Sun Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda which was constructed in 1312, the view of Sagaing from there is marvelous and then proceed to Kaunghmudaw Pagoda - an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century; and visit Pottery and Silversmith workshops. After lunch, boat trip to Mingun where the worlds largest ringing bell exist. Tour highlights include Mingun Bell, a mammoth unfinished Mingun Pagoda, Myatheintan Pagoda, Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda, Mingun village and environs.Back to Mandalay by enjoying the sunset view over the Mighty Ayeyarwaddy River View

Our representative guide will pick up at 0830 am and then drive to Sagging Hill - known as the center for meditation with hundreds of Pagodas, Monasteries and Nunneries tucked into the surrounding valleys and hills. We will then proceed to   U Min Thonze, Pagoda of the  30 Caves which have many Buddha images in a crescent shaped colonnade and Sun Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda which was constructed in 1312, the view of Sagaing from there is marvelous and then proceed to Kaunghmudaw Pagoda - an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century; and visit Pottery and Silversmith workshops and discover the culture of the Upper Myanmar. Lunch at your own cost in a local restaurant.
After lunch, boat trip to Mingun where the worlds largest ringing bell exist.History begins that King Bodawpaya has a gigantic bell cast to go with his huge stupa. The Mingun Bell weighs 90 tons, or 55555 viss and is today the largest uncracked, ringing bell in the world. Mingun Bell is situated right next to the Mingun Pahtodawgyi. King Bodawpaya dedicated to construct a gigantic Pagoda, a gigantic bell and a gigantic lion during his reign. But he was not able to complete the pagoda.
