Know More about this tour

The Salute To Pearl Harbor tour immerses you in the sights, sounds and personal stories of the world-changing events of Pearl Harbor, December 1941. This is the way to see Pearl Harbor; with a knowledgeable guide who provides helpful insight and information, fascinating historical and cultural background-with the ease of transportation and a tour package that includes everything you need to visit the WWII Valor of the Pacific National Monument and the USS Arizona Memorial.

Upon picking you up, your guide begins to share local stories and interesting bits of history-setting the scene of that fateful day in December 1941-as you head towards Honolulus Pearl Harbor. Soon, you arrive full of anticipation at one of Oahus most famous destinations.

You feel the sites power as you enter the new World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument. Here you revisit the past through never- before-seen artifacts, replicas and media displays that explain the events and details of the day leading up to and following the Pearl Harbor attack. Looking across the harbors blue waters at Ford Island, the center of the attack, you imagine the residents waking up on a Sunday morning to chaos and madness.

Traveling across the harbor by shuttle boat, and then standing in reflection on the USS Arizona Memorial, you pause in tribute to those who lost their lives that day. This graceful monument built over the remains of the sunken ship provides a moving balance of life and death, as you spot green sea turtles and colorful fish swimming in the active reef around the Arizona, even as it serves to memorialize those entombed below.

A historical film, a journey in time across the harbor, and perhaps a chance to meet a survivor of the attack complete your morning at the Memorial.

  • I could not recommend this trip and tour company more highly from the info we got on our tickets to the drivers were all excellent.

The pick up went very smoothly and advice from driver that the boats were not running due to Navy cancelling because of weather meant we could decide to go ahead or re book or get money back for trip.

We went ahead anyway and really glad we did as she gave us wonderful tour guide information all the way to Pearl Harbour memorial site also information about not taking bags in etc.

The site was a respectful area and the film made the whole experience so worth while very moving and you got a very real understanding of before and after the tragic event.

Again on the way back our guide gave us a lot of interesting information and offered to drop any of us off where we wanted back at hotel or shops etc.

  • A well organized tour that took advantage of the time
limits while providing us a wonderful and touching experience full of historical information.

  • We booked the basic tour. This was a good deal for someone wanting the basic experience or as in my case a spouse who really did not want to spend all day on a tour. The only thing I would change. I would have liked a little less local color in order to spend a little more time on Pearl Harbor grounds. I would consider this a no frills tour but it was money well spent as I got the basic tour I was looking for. We saw the Pearl Harbor museums, and the boat ride onto the memorial

After taking this tour, I am sure that each incremental tour level at this location only gets better. I would have no problem recommending this tour to others. I stress that you check out all their tours as I did to find the one with the level of depth you are looking for.

  • We had considered taking the local bus, buying our own tickets and touring by ourselves. I'm so glad we didn't! We learned so much more from Rick our guide. He was also went out of his way to find transport for passengers who did not arrive on time for the scheduled pick up. This is an experience we will never forget and recommend it to others.

  • Really very good, especially this particular tour, for people with limited time , or for some people or family members who may not want to spend a whole day at the facility. Tour guide, good man and answered all questions. My husband and son remained at the facility to visit the Missouri, and got local bus back. It would have been good if the tour company could have provided a return trip at a later time, even for a small price for those who wanted to stay later. Certainly a must see, to appreciate the history and significance and contemplate the horrific loss of all those sons.

  • What a great experience and a must do when in Waikiki. Very interesting to see how this all unfolded although we only really took photos on the land as we felt it wasn't really appropriate to take photos on the memorial. Security is very tight and no bags can be taken in no exceptions so only take your camera, phone, wallet and sunglasses. There is a cloak/bag room where you can leave your bags for a small fee.

  • Excellent tour guy and plenty of time to see

  • It was a great tour talking about Honolulu. Our tour guide was great. Dropped us off to visit Pearl Harbor and had several hours there.

  • The morning was as advertised with a very friendly guide.
We were expecting to be picked up at our hotel but had not been given a time. I asked our hotel reception to ring the company to find out and it was only then that we discovered we had to walk two blocks to the meeting point.
Had we not rung we would still be there waiting for them

  • A must when visiting the island
