Over the centuries the Prince Archbishops of Salzburg represented the worldly and clerical power in their own independent principality. Many impressive monuments still stand witness to their reign. Renowned architects and artists worked throughout the centuries to create architectural jewels. Since the 18th Century, the melody of Mozart's Magic Flute and other famous compositions resound between the historic walls of Salzburg. Gain an insight into the Gothic, Renaissance and baroque aspects of the city as Mozart saw it on this informative sightseeing tour of Salzburg.

This was the perfect daytime activity for a short day trip in Salzburg. Our tour guide, Leo, was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. We loved his energy - easily one of the best tours I've ever been on. And Salzburg is GORGEOUS. Highly recommend.

I was on a tour with two Germans and the guide said it would be in both English and German but it turned out to be only 20% in English. At times she didn’t even attempt to translate into English, at others she would speak in German for 4 minutes and then to me for 30 seconds in english. I definitely don’t feel like I got the tour I paid for. This doesn’t need to be posted publicly, just fix it for future people

Our tour guide Leo’s enthusiasm and knowledge of his beloved hometown made this tour a delight and it was the perfect antidote to a rainy day. Discovering charming Salzburg beyond the old town made our appreciation for it even stronger! We learned so much in an enjoyable, informative tour. Thanks Leo from the Pennsylvania tourists.

Don't expect a tour about Mozart: If this is what you expect, you will be disappointed. In fact, some of the people in our van were not even part of the Mozart tour: They were on a regular Salzburg city tour, and the only difference between them and us was that they were handed a Salzburg City Pass at the end of the tour, and we were handed tickets to the Mozart Museum. In fact, the name "Mozart" was never even mentioned on the tour until the very end, when the guide mentioned the museum. I expected a tour that went into his life and how the city shaped his life and how he shaped the city. Some good things: Our tour guide was nice and personable, and it was a small van instead of a large bus (large buses are not allowed in the old town). You are given some free time to walk around, but not enough time to thoroughly explore a place. Think of it more as a survey of the town. If you have never been to Salzburg before, I recommend doing this before anything else. It will give you some ideas of what you might want to come back and revisit.

Visitamos dos lugares que no tienen nada que ver con Mozart, desde fuera y en 10 minutos. Todo y entrar en el paquete, no nos dieron entrada para la casa natal de Mozart. Nada recomendable.

Really really informative and a tour that one should definitely not miss! Includes all that one doesn’t know or commonly hear about Mozart family One of the few places that actually explained properly to use the self guided tour technology properly

The guide seemed disengaged and disinterested. He was only willing to answer questions when pressed to do so. The tour gives you what you pay for, that is, not very much. We have a somewhat better sense of Salzburg than when we embarked on the tour.

Our guide had to do double duty by driving us safely in the snow while pointing out the sights. He also had a great sense of humor. It was a good introduction to the city but because of the snow it was difficult to see all that he was pointing out.
