Overview
Over the centuries the Prince Archbishops of Salzburg represented the worldly and clerical power in their own independent principality. Many impressive monuments still stand witness to their reign. Renowned architects and artists worked throughout the centuries to create architectural jewels. Since the 18th Century, the melody of Mozart's Magic Flute and other famous compositions resound between the historic walls of Salzburg. Gain an insight into the Gothic, Renaissance and baroque aspects of the city as Mozart saw it on this informative sightseeing tour of Salzburg.

Our guide had to do double duty by driving us safely in the snow while pointing out the sights. He also had a great sense of humor. It was a good introduction to the city but because of the snow it was difficult to see all that he was pointing out.

We were fortunate to be the only 2 people on the tour on this day, and Bettina the tour guide let us sit in the front of the minibus, which made the whole tour feel a lot more friendly and personal. Bettina was very friendly, spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about Salzburg and the sights. The tour is only 2 hours but gives a very good overview of the sights and attractions the city has to offer. Would recommend this as an ideal 1st or 2nd day tour to get your bearings and become acquainted with the City.

My wife and I were the only clients at the time of our Traces tour. Yet the tour operator took us on the tour and we thought we received extra attention and information because we had his undivided attention. The operator went out of his way trying to make us feel as special guests.

WAS SICK AND COULD NOT ATTEND LOST

Thank you to this tour company for crafting me a special one-person tour since my boat came into port that morning in Linz late, causing me to miss the earlier train to Salzburg, causing me to miss my 11 a.m. tour time. But the tour company sent me along with my own special tour guide who helped me salvage what was left of this tour. Viator and companies who work with Viator have never let me down customer-service wise. That's why I continue booking tours with them wherever I travel. Thanks, Viator.

Excellent small minibus tour. Personal touch given and the tour guide went above and beyond the call of duty to provide accurate information.

Uma visita pelos principais pontos interessantes e no final a Casa de Mozart, sensacional o audiovisual nesse museu, em quase todas as línguas. Imperdível!

Interesting tour. Our guide was good and very knowledgeable. Short and sweet tour.

This tour isn't even worth one star. They group us with another couple who booked for a regular city tour not the one on the traces of Mozart. And they were German speaking. I'm sure they requested a tour in German language but they end up taking an English tour with us. There is nothing about the traces of Mozart except for the self tour of the Mozart Museum at the end. The tour is supposed to be 3.5 hours. We had about 50 minutes of regular city tour and the driver / guide dropped us at the Mozart Museum with an entrance ticket. Very very disappointed. Don't take this tour.

The only real traces of Mozart is as the end of the tour when you visit the museum.
