We bundled our walking tour of Salzburg and the Sound of Music bus tour. Highly recommend the walking tour to get a feel of this complex and historical city. Tour was casual and very informative so that we could later walk the city on our own to focus in the areas we had more interest. The bus tour for the Sound of Music was way to enjoy the great musical with 60 other musical fanatics! Great fun singing the tunes and reminiscing about the show! Only stop at a couple actual sites but it’s all about the experience!

This was my wife's dream tour. She has wanted to do this all of her life and she wasn't disappointed. It was awesome to see all of the locations that were in the film and we are now able to watch the movie again and say, "WE WERE RIGHT THERE!" The only disappointment was that we couldn't go into or even near some of the locations. David our guide was excellent even leading us all in singing all the songs from the movie. Very good tour, I'm glad we went.

I was super excited about this tour. It was a big disappointment. The mountains are in Germany, The gazebo was moved to a corner of a park. Not even in an open field. The house you see it from across a lake. The only good thing was that we actually got to see the church. The Mondsee area where the church is was rushed . Save your money. Seriously!!!!

Bettina, our guide was excellent. Full of energy, explaining everything, and really caring about the people in the group. If you are really interested in the film and how it was made it's ok. If you want to see Austrian sights (like me) choose something else

Our tour guide, David, and our bus driver, Haki, were the abdolute. best. We enjoyed David’s sense of humor and his extensive amount of knowledge. Haki was fabulous and it was our best tour during our vacation.

Both the Walking Tour and Sound of Music Tours were excellent! Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the female tour guide on the walking tour but she was excellent. While not using a microphone or headsets she was clear, concise, and could be heard by all. The guide had a thorough knowledge of the history of the area and presented it well.
Dave was our guide on the Sound of Music tour. He provided fun facts about the movie and details of the actual events. The entire bus joined in singing the songs. Fun!fun!fun! Would highly recommend both these tours if visiting Salzburg. -
Saw lots of the sites that were used in the Sound of Music, was surprised they didn't go past the actual family house
-
Excellent walking tour and then the bus trip. If you like the sound of Music then you could not do better than this trip and our guide Eric who kept us informed and amused all the way.
