This was the best way to get a broad look at SF in just a few hours. Nick is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He obviously has a love for this city. With the earpiece and Nick on the microphone, you get constant information and direction as you ride. I was amazed we saw so much of the city in a few hours. Thanks to the easy to ride electric bike, you can easily cruise up steep hills, in no time! And when you return to the bike shop after your ride, Nick provides lots of insider tips for the rest of your trip. I would highly recommend this be your first activity.

Our guide Nick was super knowledgeable and accommodating. He made the experience fun and relaxing. This was a fabulous way to see so many different areas of the city and I learned a lot of interesting facts. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is new to San Fran to and wants to pack a good number of sights and places into a day. The bikes were super easy to use and helped me zip up steep hills with no problem. I loved this tour!

This tour was in the top three highlights of our trip! Nick is so knowledgeable of the city and it's history and really knows how to engage a group! We were only able to book in near the end of our trip (still worth it), but it would be ideal to book this for the beginning of your trip as once you complete the tour, Nick gives you more tips and guidance for things to do around town. Loved it!

Almost 20 miles through the city and never broke a sweat! Super tour guide with earphones for us so he could narrate and give directions. BEST thing we did!

We loved the bike tour! With the E-bikes we had the opportunity to see the best parts of the city in such a short time. Nick is a great guide who gives lots off interesting insights into the cities history and the life today, food recommendations and everything you could wish for. We would totally do it again!

This tour is AMAZING! Nick is very personable and knows so much about the city. Love that you get to see the areas locals love, not just touristy spots. The ebikes make the ride a breeze. We did 18 miles and never broke a sweat (and we’re not fit haha).

Our family LOVED this tour! We've been on several food/bike tours in SF before, but nothing as fun and wide-ranging as the e-bike tour with Nick. His shop was well-organized, and he did a good job of getting everybody situated and comfortable on their bikes. Despite the fact that there were 10+ people on our tour and only one guide, Nick did a great job of keeping us in the loop with his microphone, so we could clearly hear his instructions on our ear pieces. Great use of tech to keep the group connected, since there were a couple of times that part of the group missed a light and had to wait a couple of minutes to cross an intersection. We really enjoyed getting to bike all over the city and experience the sights from the ground, while not worrying about having to tackle the hills without any help. The several stops were well thought out, and the lunch spot was great--we had fantastic banh mi sandwiches that we ate in the Presidio overlooking the Bay. Nick is a great ambassador for the city and followed up with us after the tour with a list of resources and an offer to help us with sight-seeing suggestions. We'd do his tour again in a heartbeat, even if it was the exact same route.

eginning to end, bike worked, wonderfully. Nick is an incredible tour guide and definitely gave the insider scoop to SF. Loved that he wove history through the tour in a light and informed way, walked away with a much better understanding of the city. Nick was so patient with our group, did an incredible job managing different skill levels on the road. We also had ear pieces so we could hear him as we rode which levelled up the experience, nice touch. Definitely recommend.

On a 3 day visit to San Francisco, we booked this tour with Dandyhorse. We had a fantastic experience (1) Nick's enthusiasm is amazing and he ensures everyone has a great time (2) He provides an audio link while you ride which means you get to understand all the instructions irrespective of where you are in the group (3) his bikes have superpowers (e-bikes) which means a 32km ride is effortless - you'll whizz by a lot of other tourists on standard bikes huffing & puffing (4) San Francisco has a significant network of bike lanes making it a great way to see the place beyond downtown Highly recommended from someone who doesn't write reviews Eric
