The confirmation was unclear, it did not say that they were going to pick us up at our hotel. They only gave us one phone number that was unreachable. However, we did get an email that told us to be ready at 6.30 am, so we were. We waited till 7.20 am but no one came and we could not call. At 7.40 am we received a call that there has been an accident and he would be there at 8 am. Luckily he, Arturo, was there at 8, but with a bit of a crappy car. However, he was very nice and we had a fun trip. We spotted the quetzal almost immediately despite the late arrival and there were three other stops. He also bought us coffee and lunch, probably to make up for it. Very nice. He did drive a bit dangerously, as he was on his phone all the time so we did not feel safe.

Enclavado en las montañas de Talamanca y regado por el río Saavegre, el río más limpio de Costa Rica y Centraoamerica,es sencillamente un paraíso,tiene un clima exquisito,por encontrarse en el bosque nuboso,se pueden encontrar hoteles y restaurantes a precios muy accesibles , se puede practicar la pesca , recorrer sembradíos de manzanas , avistar aves .Ideal para pasear en familia y estar en contacto con la naturaleza . La atención es única en cualquier establecimiento que se visite,es una linda experiencia estar ahí . Lo recomiendo.El traslado hasta ahí es fácil.
