  • young lady was awesome. she took good care of us. thank you.

  • The walking tour was really nice! The food sampling was great!

  • I had the opportunity to see and enjoy San Jose with Vinicio. He was really a great tour guide. I learned a lot about Costa Ricas history. I could try delicious fruit and food. He answered all my questions. I also saw very interesting sight seeings! I highly recommend taking this tour with Vinicio

  • We really enjoyed this walking tour of San Jose. Vinicia was the best guide and knew so much about the markets, the history, and the foods. We walked through different markets and sampled fruits, empanadas, tamales, coffee, auga dulce, and gelato. The national theater was beautiful and we enjoyed the pedestrian plaza. Great way to start a visit to San Jose.

  • THIS was the BEST TOUR!! My guide, Vinicia knew all the ins and outs of both markets - I learned more in this tour than in the other 4 visits I have made to San Jose!! I got to try all kinds of food, fruits, etc that I normally would not know what or how to eat. Plus my guide Vinicia was so knowledgeable about everything in San Jose. I highly rec this and Vinicia!!!

  • Carolina was our tour guide and she was awesome! We toured the Central Market, visited the fruit market, the national theater and learned a lot of information on the history of the city. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and I'd highly recommend making this one of your first tours.

  • A very good tour. Felipe and Sebastian took us through two of the main food markets in San Jose and included in the price are many tastings of the products on sale, from bananas to home made ice cream. The guides could not have been more informative. A fascinating insight in to local customs and history. Also included are two of the main churches in San Jose. A word of caution - if you are coming from an out of town hotel allow plenty of time to get to the meeting point. The San Jose traffic is horrific. If you are in a city centre hotel then- no problem.

  • I was hoping to taste more food , not just fruits. It was nice, but not worth doing again

  • Young lady led our tour. Food part was fantastic. She did a great job showing us the 3 markets and arranging samples of unknown fruits and a great cup of coffee. Her knowledge of statues, monuments and history was a work in progress. She needs to continue to learn and read all the guidebooks she can get her hands on, Very congenial and pleasant person to spend time with.

  • I was fortunate to have Brenda all to myself on this tour. She is a lovely girl and was very happy to share her knowledge about the tour topics and also life in Costa Rica in general. It was more like walking around with an old friend and she fielded my dozens of questions with cheerful enthusiasm. We spent half the time in the market and half outside so if you are looking for a more all encompassing orientation tour, I would suggest a different tour. However it was a nice way to spend the morning, tasting the different fruits and foods I was unfamiliar with. I loved the place she took me for chorreador made coffee and plantains with cheese and spice so much that I had to go back on my last day!
