If you want to spend some time pleasantly in the countryside, with simple and friendly people who love company and good food, this experience is for you! The farmhouse is just a few minutes from the center of Alghero in an easy atmosphere, relaxing and of course really familiar. The location is just 8 km from Alghero.

Eugenio adores cooking and hosting guests, together with the help of his wife, who is originally from the southern region of Sardinia. Together theyve refined a menu of Sardinian specialties, using products and raw materials from the island, like fish and vegetables from the local market, and olive oil from Puglia. Get ready to learn some of the secrets of our cuisine and enjoy the meal with your friends and family.

This is a typical menu you will prepare:

  • appetizer: bruschetta with tomatoes ; cream cheese and rocket; vegetable fritters
  • First, Sardi Gnocchi Sardi with lamb sauce
  • Second: Scallops with lemon and roasted potatoes with rosemary
  • Dessert : Squares of cottage cheese flavored with orange
  • Sardinian red wine, Water and Mirto and limoncello, home made of course.

    My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening with Irene at the end of September. We prepared delicious pasta and had a wonderful dinner served to us by the pool. Irene explained everything about the process and it all seemed so easy (except the little Gnocchi which was a challenge) that we bought a ravioli mold the next day to try it at home. Irene emailed us all of the recipes including the information for the sauces and appetizers (which her brother prepares separately). I would highly recommend this class. We loved it!!

    we are a family of 3, with a 11 year old daughter. we took the cooking lesson together. Also our 11 year old attended and loved it.
    We were warmly welcomed into the house and kitchen of the host. She was very friendly and patient. She explained every step of the pasta making process and included our daughter in very way. We made tagliatelle, ravioli, gnocchi, batter for tempura and a dessert. After the cooking lesson, we could eat what we prepared, on the cozy patio near the pool. It was really a lovely evening with family and good food

    Irene is a fabulous cook/ guide/ host with very good English.
    She goes through the pasta making step by step and the meal at the end is divine. Me and my wife loved it.

    I booked this cooking class as a present for my sister's birthday during our stay in Alghero. Irene, her family and friends, were all so welcoming and kind! It was such a fun day full of cooking, eating, sharing stories and getting to know one another. My sister and I both absolutely loved the experience and hope too come again the next time we are in Sardegna! :

    Irene and Igor are a lovely couple and total foodies. We had a great time learning how to make the various pasta from tagliatelle to raviolis. we tasted Igors' home produced wine which is excellent. we highly recommend this cooking class, its well worth the detour and the ambiance is casual and convivial.

    My husband and I had a fantastic time learning how to make various pastas and about Sardinian culture. Our host family was warm and inviting. Their farmhouse is gorgeous. We toured their property including their small winery and sampled their delicious wine. This is an experience we will cherish!

    This experience was everything and more. Irene was most welcoming and so were her dogs. It is a beautiful little spot in the Sardinian Countryside. We were able to make our own pasta, she showed us all of the steps and then we got to enjoy it along with many different appetizers that Irene and her brother prepared for us. It couldn't have been a more beautiful day and we were so lucky to have experienced such a day. Highly recommended!

    We had an amazing dinner with Irene. She taught us how to create two types of pasta and a zucchini breading then served an amazing dinner on the patio by the pool. We also got to taste some of her homemade wine from the property. This was a highlight of our Sardinian Trip.
