Overview

We offer an incredible experience to see Georgia's historic "First City" and her thriving port from the water's unique perspective. Decked out in traditional red, white and blue these towering riverboats are a staple along Savannah's historic riverfront.  We have a variety of tours options lasting an hour and a half, from sightseeing to lunch and dinner and moonlight cruises; there is a cruise for everyone.  Our riverboat, the Georgia Queen, can hold up to 1,000 passengers and our other riverboat, the Savannah River Queen, can hold up to 600 passengers.  Our customers can expect to cruise with at least a couple of hundred other people.  Our guests will need to swap our their Viator voucher for a boarding pass in our ticket office prior to boarding.  Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to our sailing time for sightseeing cruises and 60 minutes prior to food cruises.

  • The trip was great. The capt' gave a lot of good historic information. But...if you get your ticket through Viator/trip advisor, be advised you have to go to the river boat ticket center on the opposite side of the road...the one with red canopy and go inside and show the bar code to the people inside and then they will give you the tickets. This was the only down point for booking at the previous night and not printing the confirmation.

  • The ship was clean and well maintained but the air conditioning was set so low that it was too cold to stay indoors. It had rained overnight and all the outdoor benches were wet. The narrator did a good job but other than the fort and the waving girl, all you see/hear is industrial based, The food was good but very pricey - 38 for one hamburger and two chicken sandwiches.

  • Amazing cruises with a history lesson!

  • Great experience. Relaxing with delicious food items.

  • Good to do , actually a must when you go to savannah.

  • Nice relaxing cruise with an awesome lunch as a bonus. There were many options as to where one could sit to enjoy the cruise, from out in the sun, to the top deck under an umbrella, to seating inside where it was air conditioned. Also enjoyed the commentary about the Savannah community.

  • The Riverboat Dinner Cruise was okay at best. There wasn't much to look at except a bunch of old industrial buildings and still boats. The food was pretty blah. Wasn't worth the $ spent on the dinner. I guess it would be okay 2 just have couple of hours to relax and have a couple of drinks.

  • This was cool. We took a picture before boarding and was able to sit in the level with the air conditioning! The narrator did an awesome job with narrating the history. Saw a dolphin! It started raining so he and everyone sitting outside had to come in. Food and drinks were sold as well.

  • The cruise was wonderful! We took the dinner cruise and the ride was smooth, the view of the sunset was gorgeous, and we loved it! While the drinks were huge and delicious, the food was a little lackluster. The best part was the roast and the shrimp and grits. Everything else seemed dried out or tasteless. Overall, beautiful and great trip with a very friendly staff.

  • The guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us points of interest to look for after the cruise. The drinks on board were great too. Food service was slow but the fare was tasty. I would highly recommend this as a starting point to finding your way through this beautiful city.
