Know More about this tour

Head inside Schnbrunn Palace with your entrance ticket, and start your evening with a 1-hour self-guided audio tour. As the former summer residence of the powerful Habsburg dynasty, Schnbrunn is considered by many as one of Europes most beautiful baroque palaces. Explore the UNESCO-listed site from the west wing, with the apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, through to the State Wing.

Continue to the guest apartments, with their richly ornate dcor, and then take a turn around the Franz Karl Apartments, which were once occupied by the emperors parents.

With your audio tour over, head inside the Ehrenhof restaurant, adjacent to the main palace entrance. Or, in the summer months (from May to September), take a seat outside at a table on the garden terrace. Whatever the location, a 3-course Austrian meal awaits. Read the Itinerary for a sample menu.

After dinner, make your way to the palace Orangery for your classical music concert. In the historical setting, take your seat in your chosen ticket category: VIP, A, B and C, referring to the front, middle and rear of the auditorium respectively.

Then, sit back and listen to an ensemble from the Schnbrunn Palace Orchestra perform overtures and operatic arias by Mozart and Strauss. Examples of the pieces played include Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Radetzkymarsch and more. The ensemble is accompanied by a soprano and baritone as well as two ballet dancers. If you chose to book a VIP or category A seat, your ticket includes a glass of fizz during the intermission.

Important:
08.01.-31.03.2019 Concert Location: The White-and-Gold-Room
The White-and-Gold-Room is situated on the ground floor of Schoenbrunn Palace. With its white-and-gold-panelled walls and varying rocaille dcor it is an outstanding example of Rococo craftsmanship from the era of Maria Theresa.
01.04.-30.04.2019 Concert Location: Great Gallery
This most magnificent Rococo ceremonial hall has tall windows and crystal mirrors, a white-and-gold stucco decoration and ceiling frescos by the Italian artist Gregorio Guglielmi.

Your experience ends when the concert finishes, in the late evening.

Exceeded my expectations worth the upgrade! I was a bit dubious about buying this as a package but actually it was well organised the after hours tour of the shöenbrunn palace was excellent and having recently visited Versailles out history into context ie Marie Antoinnette etc. The meal was of course for a large group but the restaurant stop provided excellent service in welcoming groups to on individual tables and the service was efficient and friendly and food much better than expected and did indeed feel Like authentic Austrian dishes. The vip seats at front were worth it. The musicians very competent and accomplished yes it’s for tourists and all pieces popular and well known but performance was excellent for a wonderful evening in Vienna in the same hall where Mozart and Salieri competed in a competition!

The audio tour was very good. After the tour, we walked, in the rain, about 1/2 mile to a restaurant where our guide left us. The restaurant was ok but definitely not the meal we expected. After eating, we made our own way, again in the rain, to the concert hall, about 1/4 mile. There was close to an hour between dinner and the start of the concert, which we enjoyed. Our biggest disappointment was the logistics and the fact that we felt misled about the location and quality of the meal. We do not recommend.

A really nice night out in Vienna, very easy to get to on the Ubarn. Tour of the palace was a little chaotic to begin, but soon settled and the audio playback was really informative. the Food in the package was good in a nice restaurant a short walk form the Orangery, be careful of the the Fizz they try to push to you at first, its a bit pricey, however we had a very nice Austrian Red at a reasonable price. The musicians were good for the concert, some of the music was a bit foreign to me, however this was more down to my lack of knowledge, however still enjoyable. It was very atmospheric due to the time of year and the Xmas Market outside in the cold and the dusting of snow.

quick and interesting palace tour, followed by dinner and then a concert. What more could you ask from an evening in Vienna

Excellent. Very enjoyable tour, dinner, and concert. The only downside was a very long walk from the palace to the restaurant. We recommend it !

The tour was awesome not having to worry about fighting lines or a bunch of people and good of you can’t get there during regular hours. The dinner was very good and shared a bottle of wine. The concert was intimate and made you feel like royalty.

Very good concert, dinner ok. A little far to walk to the restaurant. Food very basic, but service was good. All in all a nice exprience.

Palace tour was in a rush. Wife dropped off after touring just four rooms and it was never restored. We tried to re-connect the website, that was provided at the beginning of the tour, afterwards at the restaurant and for some peculiar reasons we failed to get through the firewall(?). The guide was nowhere to be seen. We were not led by him but had our luck to reach the restaurant. Food and services were mediocre at best. Servers were a little greedy. Wine was pricey. The head waiter attempted to sell us even pricier wine. We of course resisted. The waitress asked us not to pay the wine by card because she wanted a cash tipping. Don't expect a full orchestra. Only 8 played the instruments plus a couple second-rated artists performed singing and dancing. I didn't feel the evening wonderful. With a price that high, I don't recommend anyone to taste this 'Austrian experience'

Wonderful concert, great musicians spectacular setting. But, we walked over half a mile to get to the restaurant and get back for the concert, unexpected. We were given tickets for drinks which of course we assumed would be part of the restaurant meal, but it turns out they were for the intermission drink. A piece of paper summarizing the concert selections would’ve been nice after paying $150 I should not have to pay five dollars more for a program to know what we were listening to. It was sad that the person who conducted the concert never once addressed the people in the audience to tell them what they were listening to, that personal touch would’ve been very appreciated by the audience. Also please alert the people touring the royal apartments that mounted above each doorway is the number of the room they are entering. This would enable the listener to be in the right place in the pre-recorded audio tour I was unaware of that until halfway through the tour. I would so have appreciated an email the day before our concert telling us that we would have to walk a distance to the restaurant, and explaining exactly how the audio to tour worked on your phone and the simple explanation that the rooms were all numbered to match the tour on your phone My husband is 80 years old, he has trouble walking long distances, and going up and downstairs. There was no accommodation or mention of elevators or a ride to the restaurant. It’s just important to mention things like that in the explanation for the Ticket Purchase so people know what to expect.

This was an excellent all around experience. The tour of the palace was the limited version, but plenty to feel we experienced the palace. We arrived off season, so were unable to see the gardens. The dinner was delicious, though we weren't allowed a food choice. People may complain about that, but what did they expect? It was a great value given all that was included in the package. The concert was in the palace, which made it great from the start. It was an enjoyable experience, and not the dry stuffy event that we feared. We had only one night in Vienna on a flight layover, and this evening made us feel that we had a touch of the best of Vienna.
