Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra awaits you at the Palace Orangery where Mozart himself performed in 1786. The concert is a fine selection of masterful music by Mozart and Strauss, rounded off by dance and vocal performances.
Since the establishment of the Schoenbrunn Palace Concerts, the daily performances of the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra play an essential role in Vienna's cultural and musical life. At the Orangery Schoenbrunn, a place rich in tradition, the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra and the Schoenbrunn Palace Ensemble perform the most beautiful tunes of the classic composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss.
On selected dates, the concerts take place in the Great Gallery or in the White-Gold Room directly in the Palace, in the Schnbrunn Palace Theatre or other concert halls in Vienna.

Sympathetic music professionals, and every thing from the garden to the venue were amazing. Garden (the pool) could be in better condition. What I did not like, on the other hand, has been that, as a tourist in the city, who did not visit the overall palace yet, it was quite hard to find the orangerie concert hall within the palace. No signs, no information in the e-mails, as if it was so easy as reaching the palace. I think you should state in the e-mail or some where, that the entrance of the hall is not the main gate, but on the ... meters to the right. Thanks god we got there at 19:00. Othervise, we would be late for the concert. Navigation did not help. It did not know about the venue entrance. Anyways, thanks for the good concert and the nice venue. Cheers.
Awesome performance! The only shortfall was finding the voucher redemption counter. We wasted half a day looking for the counter.
Touring the Schönbrunn palace and gardens in the morning and then coming back that evening to actually sit in the Orangerie magical space listening to Mozart.
Excellent experience. The musicians and singers were wonderful. What is even more amazing are the acoustics in palace room: clean and very crisp sound. Wonderful evening. I would highly recommend it.
It was a very pleasing performance at a beautiful and historic venue. Very well organized and everything went smoothly from picking up tickets to getting seated. The orchestra, opera singers and conductor were very engaging and drew the audience in. The audience responded and we were treated to a couple of encores!
We had a pleasant and amazing evening. The orchestra played pieces by Mozart and Strauss, accompanied by two singers: a very good tenor and soprano
Salesperson told us this was an event geared towards families and young children. He told my children that there would be dressing up, light shows and told us the performance was shortened to cater for children. When we turned up we realised it was nothing of the sort! Very disappointed with the misspelling tactics employed by the Palace. Spoilt our memory of Schönbrunn as we only had 3 days in Vienna and would have chosen to do something else with our young children. They sat through the performance and it was okay for them but it's not how we would have chosen to spend 80 euros and a precious evening in Vienna. Disappointed that the Palace use such shoddy sales practices in order to simply bank a sale.
The orchestra was superb and the second half was extremely vibrant. Loved it. Very talented musicians including the conductor on violin. Unexpectedly we were also treated to two opera singers on occasion during the performance
The concert was lovely. It would have been helpful to know the story behind mini opera performances but all in all it was a great performance.
Of course the music. Had less Enjoyment of the several opera arias in a foreign language with unknown meaning, albeit excellent talent. The seating was disappointing as simple chairs all at same level so difficult for shorter people to see much. Was not advised of the identity of the 10 pieces played.
