  • The dinner was satisfactory, but not as special as we hoped. The Concert at the Orangerie was especially fun, with a varied repertoire and enthusiastic performers.

  • Dinner was OK, not the meat, but the ambiance was so perfect and also the concert was enjoyable, even my two teenagers did enjoy it. Made our night memorable, and the acoustic in Le Orangerie was actually pretty good

  • Schoenbrunn Palace is amazing and with this package you get to see the palace at night. We took the subway from the opera house stop in Vienna to Schoenbrunn. It was so easy to do and the subway station is very clean and safe. The dinner was delicious and the service wonderful. We paid for the VIP package and sat in the 3rd row from the stage. Very nice concert with singers and dancers.
The only negative, it was a warm evening and there was no air conditioning.

  • Great dinner and wonderful performance in the finest settings. An experience to experience.

  • Good

  • The office to collect tickets does not have any signage which makes it difficult to know you are in the correct place. Our dinner was at a hotel restaurant down the road and not at the palace which is not what we were expecting. The concert also featured ballet and opera, the variety was nice

  • We really enjoyed this evening out.
Our dinner was served in Cafe Restaurant Residenz I understand location can vary. Don't let the word Cafe put you off, although small, it is opulent inside with: gilt, chandeliers, artwork and attentive service. Food was pleasant, not exciting, but competent, Viennese cuisine the menu was exactly as published on the website. I personally enjoyed feeling that I was dining at an Imperial Palace. Oddly, some other reviewers seemed to feel that everything should actually be in a royal stateroom, but I think that's a bit naive.
The concert in the Orangerie was excellent, a small troup comprising Chamber Orchestra, two Opera singers and two ballet dancers. Inevitably the program was Mozart and Strauss, and you'll recognize many pieces.
As other reviewers have mentioned: there could be some long walks involved, dinner is quite a long distance from the concert. Especially if you make the mistake of going to the wrong location first. TIP: the map and signs at the U-bahn point to the wrong ticket office, and by the time you get there in the evening this is occupied by a solitary cleaner. The actual concert ticket office is just opposite the station and not well marked but is described exactly on the reservation.
Inevitably, you are going to arrive early. Rather than just hanging about, we made an advantage of this by arriving even earlier and going for a walk in the extensive gardens all free. The only challenge with this is finding a route that gets you to the right place: look carefully at the map - a wrong turn can be about a 1 km detour, this place is huge!

  • An enjoyable evening but with reservation. Firstly to collect ticket we needed to go to the Orangerie then walk back to the main palace courtyard to the restaurant, some 2-300metres. Ours was a cold but dry evening, we would not have been happy had it been raining. The meal was nice but quite basic, the consommé soup was a bit tasteless, not really to our liking but palatable all the same. After the meal it was a walk back to the Orangerie. The concert was very enjoyable which included some opera and ballet pieces. However, the room was very hot which made it somewhat uncomfortable for us and we found it difficult to stay focused particularly after a long day touring the city. All in all though a quite enjoyable experience.

  • The evening started with a fantastic and authentic dinner at the Schonbrunn palace's restaurant. Ambiance was nice, service was okay, and food was spectacular. The show was a short walk away in a makeshift concert hall made out of a giant reception hall. The show featured pieces from Mozart and Strauss, included opera, ballet, and traditional ensemble pieces. Overall a terrific show for all ages.

If i had to change anything I would say add better instructions for picking up your passes. We were unaware that the dinner passes were to be picked up at the shows location then walked over to the restaurant.

  • The dinner and the concert are not in the same place. We had to walk a long distance from the dinner area to the concern area.
