Diane was great, knowledgeable about the food, culture and the town. How can you not have a great time eating and drinking your way through Amsterdam. Food on tour was wine, cheese, salami, powered pancakes, fish, meatballs, apple pie and beer. Our group was very friendly and from all different countries. Tour was in English, would highly recommend. Bring walking shoes, an umbrella, water and hearty appetite!

Perfect meeting place. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. We went to places we would never have visited without her guidance. The food was Dutch with broad diversity from cheeses, sausages, pancakes, Dutch apple pie, a visit to a fish monger, and a special stop along the way. Walking was easy. We highly recommend the food tour.

This was a great tour in a very beautiful area of Amsterdam. Lots of food and drinks. Our guide, Holly, was very knowledgable, friendly and fun and I learned loads. The group was fun and engaging. This is a great way to see and learn more about Amsterdam. I’ve done many tours in Amsterdam and this had the perfect combo of food, drink, sights and history. Plus Holly is a great guide!

It was fun and relaxing. We learned a bit of history, walked through lovely areas of Jordan and all the food was delicious. The weather did not go to plan but it did not matter we truly enjoyed it any way. Our guide did a great job of arranging alternatives when a kitchen was shut down. Recommend to travellers.

It was a very enjoyable trip. Diana was very nice and knowledgeable. Loved that it was a small group versus others that have so many people. I would highly recommend this canal cruise.

Luna was fantastic - we learned more about Holland and truly experienced the unique foods of the area. It felt like we made a friend who was just taking us around her neighborhood. Luna explained so much about Amsterdam, its history and its traditions. And she did it while sharing such interesting tidbits of food. We’re not sure what we liked most - but we are certainly fans of Pancakes Amsterdam (founded by women) and those little pancakes. We went back 2 days later just to have them again. We loved learning about young and old cheeses (liked the tasty bite selected by the proprietress of jellied ginger with cheese and cracker - YUM!). The fried cod was delicious (and the raw fish was interesting to learn about although I only tried the onions and bread and butter pickles on that plate). The drink pairings were perfect (good Portuguese wine with the cheeses; great “white” beer with the bittenballen. We loved the apple pie, peanut satay chicken, and (I’m afraid I’m leaving something out) all the rest for sure. We will certainly take similar tours in other cities in the future but Luna set a high bar for any others. Do this tour - you’ll learn so much about Amsterdam, you’ll see a nice cross section of it, and you’ll love the food!
