You will observe Newari craftsmen doing traditional carvings as they have done for hundreds of years. The temple is the oldest Hindu temple in the Valley, dating back nearly 900 years.
Pashupatinath This is not only the most sacred Hindu place in all of Nepal; it is a world pilgrimage site for Hindu around the world. There are nearly 500 temples that crowd both banks the holy Bagmati River. Here the faithful come to be cremated and have their ashes scattered on the sacred waters as it eventually joins the sacred Ganges River in India.
