  • I did not get to use this lounge and I will never go through Shanghai Airport again. From the moment a group of about 10 transit
passengers arrived at Shanghai our experience was terrible. We were marched from one area of the terminal to another just to have our boarding passes for the next flight stamped by a staff member in either a white or pink medical type scrubs. Our boarding passes at the last stop had the small piece at the end ripped off. This is usually done as your board the plane We were then gestured to proceeded through security where It was demanded of me in gestures where the rest of my boarding pass was. I was then surrounded by 4 security guards and told Drugs when they pointed at my empty electrolite bottle. After 5 minutes of trying to explain when I couldn't speak Chinese and they couldn't speak English I was let go. At this stage I was very upset and when looking could not find the lounge as everything on the signs is in Chinese. We were also left to guess where the departure gate was. As I said I will never return to Shanghai again.

  • This was my second visit to the lounge within a three week period. The visit was consistent with my previous visit and I would recommend the money spent on entering the lounge. It was a good respite on the mid way point of a 26 hour set of flights. Plenty of food and drink, good showers and friendly staff. Air con is not a thing in the lounge so its warm, but thats the airport in general. Would I use the lounge again, YES. I used twice over a three week period while transiting for a few hours.

  • had read a few reviews about the lounge - no showers and no food so went in with eyes wide open expecting the worst. Far from the case, the lounge was tidy, there was plenty of food and drink and was better than I expected. There were also showers available which was good, it was just a process of visiting reception and handing over your boarding pass for the key and then exchanging back. My only negative was the heat in the lounge but that is consistent throughout the airport where air con not good, I was glad for the shower to cool down. Would I use the lounge again, YES. I used twice over a three week period while transiting for a few hours.

  • Typical first class lounge
    It's located near terminal 77
The staff initially had a difficult time confirming the voucher make sure you mention Viator they'll know that right away
The lounge is very typical of all first class lounges
The bathrooms are clean but I didn't see a shower
The lounge was quite and located on the second floor
There's access to plug in at nearly every seats
There's a good variety of drinks soft drinks/teas/alcoholic etc
Food is typical Asian food not much western style choices
Overall very typical first class lounge

  • Looks nothing like it was advertised. No showers, limited food options and nowhere to charge your phone. Wifi uses the same network as the airport free wifi which I only managed to log onto after 40 minutes. Just a closed off seating area from the Terminal with some food pretty much.

  • I could not connect my ipad or phone to wi fi - the girls on the front desk tried to help me and they couldn't do it either.
