Know More about this tour

Meet your professional guide at the exit terminal of your cruise ship and be driven to Ephesus, approximately 30-minutes outside of Kusadasi. Famous for its Temple of Artemus during the years of the Roman Empire, the Greek port of Ephesus became the greatest city in Asia Minor.

Start your walking tour of Ephesus at the upper Magnesia Gate, and work your way down through the city, ending near the ancient harbor. Along the way you will See the Odeon, the Fountain of Trajan, the steam baths of Scholastika, the temple of Hadrian and the impressive library of Celsius, adorned with columns and statues. You will also visit to Terrace Houses in Ephesus' ancient city.

The Terrace Houses are located on the slopes of Bulbul Mountain, opposite the Hadrian Temple. Also called as "the houses of rich", these houses were for the important and wealthy people of Ephesus, as only rich people could afford such houses. After the Terrace Houses, you will continue to The Grand Theater, where St. Paul preached, the largest theater in antiquity with a capacity of 24,000.

Return to your private vehicle through the Arcadian Way, where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession. The last visit of today will be to the Selcuk / Ephesus Archaeology Museum where you can see a lot of ancient furniture, sculptures, mosaics, frescos and more. Afterward, you will be driven back to your port in Kusadasi.
