The City and the Tuscany Countryside will allow you to enjoy a perfect mix of architecture, art, nature, food and wine.

We will pick you up and drive you straight to Florence, the capital of Tuscany and the symbol of Renaissance. While approaching the town we will cross the countryside of the Chianti area, famous for wine production. Here you can admire the vineyards and olives on the hillsides and, in summer, vast fields of sunflowers.

Once we arrive to Florence you will see all the main sights this beautiful town has to offer, starting from Michelangelos Square lookout and heading to the Duomo, Giottos Bell Tower, St. John Baptistry, Ponte Vecchio and the Signoria Square. If you wish so, you can have time for some shopping in the stores or at the leather markets.

We will get back on the road before lunch and drive through the countryside towards the medieval village of San gimignano, known for its architecture and local goods. You will have a traditional Tuscan lunch accompanied by the excellent Chianti wine. You will also have time for wandering around, doing some shopping, and tasting the best Gelato in the World!

After the tour we will bring you back to your hotel or at the port on time.

Gianmaria met us at our cruise ship in a big a comfortable van and took us on a tour of Pisa, San Gimignano and Volterra. Along the way he pointed out items of interest and spoke about life in Italy now and in history. The Etruscan civilization that founded and live in the area pre-dates Greece and Rome. Very interesting. If you have seen the Netflix series "the Medici" it was filmed in Volterra. On top of a great tour we asked him to chose places to eat lunch and Gelato. Fantastic choices. He also recommended places we should eat the next day in Florence. These were the best meals we had in Italy. He recommended we eat a Lampredotto sandwich, a Florentine tradition. With trepidation we did eat them and they were really good. But try it before you ask what it is... Thank you Gianmaria.

Robert and Stefano handled our group of 10 in 2 vans with great professionalism. They switched up the plan and took us to San Gimignano first so we would miss some of the crowds. Great decision! We were able to lose ourselves in this amazing hillside village. The brothers then headed toward Florence. It was getting close to lunch so they called ahead and had a table waiting for the 10 of us at a wonderful restaurant. These two added information and fun to our day.
