We were looking for an intro to the pyramids and this excursion was perfect. Our guide was knowledgable, interesting and interested. He listened to our requests and helped us make the most of our short time. Unfortunately we did not note his name. Visiting the Pyramids was a great experience! Our guide Sam picked us up at Cairo airport on time and welcomed us to Cairo. The car was air conditioned and two bottles of cold water were there for us. The driver was very friendly and our half day tour to Giza Pyramids and Sphinx began. He drove us to different spots at the Pyramids’ site where we visited the Pyramids and Sphinx. Sam, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible and gave the history and important information on the Pyramids. He even took a lot of amazing pictures of us! The tour included lunch and a visit to a Papyrus place where we learned how papyrus is made. Sam even took us to a souvenir place for shopping before we were dropped off at Cairo airport to catch our connecting flight. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a few hours in Cairo.

Outstanding! Ask for tour guide Sayed Mahmoud by name. He was extremely attentive to our interests and needs. He was very informative, funny and taught us many things about his culture and people. He skillfully negotiated extra perks and access that made our trip exceptional. We never felt rushed or pressured. He was there to serve us. He shared intimate cultural crafts with local vendors in a casual, no pressure environment. We were always free to decline but the cultural histories were invaluable.

Our tour guide was wonderful! The whole day ran so smoothly. We felt safe, looked after and I was treated like a Queen all day! 1/ Be on time. The driver was an hour late. We had to catch a plane back. We had to rush everything. 2/ Give a better guide. This guide was too busy chit chatting with the driver.
