Know More about this tour

After pickup from your Bangkok hotel, you’ll be driven to the Siam Niramit theater. If you’ve chosen the dinner upgrade, you have a couple of hours to enjoy a meal from the buffet, which features Thai, Indian and Western dishes. Try a bowl of som tam (spicy papaya salad) or pad Thai (stir-friend noodles), and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee (beer, wine and spirits are available for purchase).

If you have not chosen the dinner option – or if you have time after dinner – explore some of the Siam Niramit’s other attractions. Stroll through a replica of a traditional Thai village, where you’ll get a look at rural life in Thailand, or sit down for a relaxing Thai massage in an open-air house next to the village.

At 8pm, the Siam Niramit show will start! This internationally acclaimed production will blow your mind with its incredible special effects, lavish costumes and amazing set scenery, all of which takes place on an enormous stage that’s in the Guinness Book of World Records. Through state-of-the-art technology and a talented cast of more than 150 performers, the show takes you on a trip through Thailand’s arts and cultural heritage.

Over three acts (the show is 80 minutes in duration with no intermission), learn about the Kingdom of Siam’s seven centuries of rich cultural history. In Act 1, you’ll be wowed by performances depicting four geographical areas and their people: the North, the South Seas, the Northeast (Issan) and the Central Plains.

Act 2 takes you through the Thai people’s common belief in the Law of Karma, in which the good and bad deeds done on Earth will result in merit or suffering in the next life. Watch three performances of the Law of Karma’s three realms – Fiery Hell, the Mystical Forest of Himapaan and Blissful Heaven.

Finally, in Act 3, feel the joy of the Thai Buddhist practice of cheerful, lively festivals. Watch the stage explode in colorful celebration in the show’s stunning finale.

When the show ends, you’ll be driven back to your hotel, knowing you just experienced one of Bangkok’s best attractions!

  • Brilliant night of glamour and glitz entertainment. Loved the elephants, Show and food great. Highly recommended.

  • Spectacular. One of the best shows weve ever seen. The scale, design, creativity, and performance make this a must in Thailand. Dont miss it. Theres plenty of entertainment outside the main stage before the show, with an amazing buffet.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Best show and the food was good. Transportation arrange made were great and the driver was good

  • We had great fun throughout the night! And thank you for arranging the seats in the theatre considering the height of our daughter, you even had the seat foam placed for her to get a better view of the stage. Small details have a great impact , always... thank you:

  • A little cheesy but ok, the show at the end was good quite a lot of different things to see. Food was buffet style help yourself - alcoholic drinks were extra, free water. Not that impressed with the food choices but they are feeding a lot of people.

  • Gorgeous show! Our seats were incredible. It was fantasy, visually entertaining and very well done. Loved the elephants.

  • Extraordinary Show, highly recommend it. The village within was very beautiful and provides visitors with a cultural experience and appreciation for there traditions.

  • Overall the show is fun and the costumes are lovely. I was traveling solo and had a very good seat in the lower middle section of the theatre. I also took advantage of the optional dinner and was pleasantly surprised as the number of food choices available for all diet types.

Things to note if you're considering this as part of your stay in Bangkok:
1 No cameras or video recorders are permitted inside the theatre during the show. You're required to check them with security much like a coat check before you're permitted entry to the theatre and then pick them up again after the show. Note this does NOT include cell phones, which you can still take with you inside. However, there are numerous security personnel walking the aisles during the show and will hone in on you immediately with a green flashlight if they see you trying to take pics. Not sure if they can actually confiscate your camera, but it's best not to put yourself in that position in the first place so just respect the no photography rule.
2 I agree with other reviewers that more translation is needed to explain what is happening during the performance. For some parts there is a screen that drops down from the ceiling to give high-level descriptions of what's happening or about to happen, but this does not occur consistently during all three segments of the performance. It would be helpful if it did, especially for Act 3 in which they portray Thailand's different ceremonies. I only recognized Kratong because of another excursion I did while in Phuket.
3 Many folks review the performance, but there's an entire pre-show that occurs outside in the courtyard of Thai Village beforehand that's not to miss. Many of the performers come out in various costumes to do different dances that you can photograph and in one case, even join in on.
4 There were 2 elephants involved in the show that I saw - one older and one younger. When I arrived they were already in Thai Village being used for photo/selfie opps, so I don't know if they were caged beforehand. At one point in the show they are brought on stage, and at another point they are walked through the center aisle. After that they're back out in Thai Village for more photo opps.
5 Pickup at my hotel the Royal Orchid Sheraton was timely, but then we sat in traffic for almost an hour on the way to the theatre. Rush hour traffic in Bangkok is horrible so keep this in mind if you're traveling with kids or haven't eaten much all day it'll be a while before you'll get to dinner.

  • Great tour I will recommend
